I would still recommend a DI to FOH. Simply for protection against accidental phantom power application and the optional ground lift for noise problems.

A UPS is great protection but it will not fix a pre-existing condition.

On my workstation table the keys on my Kronos 2 73 are level with the table surface. If there is any downward slant to the back it is very small and has no effect on playability.

My 2015 K2-73 has the auto off power switch.

I believe it is tied to the MAC address of the motherboard so you will definitely need Korg support.

Even if the DVDs don't have all the EXs you will be able to download them from Korg's site. Your SE is entitled to certain EXs based on its ID.
