Sounds like you may need to drivers for the cable. I recently had similar problems. I thought you could just plug and play with the USB but that was not the case. Only after installing the drivers for the cable AND rebooting my machine was I able to get this to work.

I'm so glad I asked. After watching some youtube videos, I think the Micro Korg is definately what im looking for. I think that will take me a long while to learn and get good with, and will keep me busy for quite some time. Thanks!

another newb question

How can I make my songs from the electribe into mp3's? The only way I would know how is to use my crappy mic and record it into sound recorder with bad quality and I know that can't be right. It seems like there would be some kind of conversion program or something out there that Im not aware of ...

Just throwing in my 2 cents. I think this is an awesome idea. Although I am still a noob, if you all needed an extra person in the end to make it an even number of contestants, I would be more than happy to put some time in and try my best. Im excited about this regardless and cant wait to see how ...

" Just load wav or aiff files into the free Electribe ESX-1 WAV / Sample Organizer *SOFTWARE* which can be found in the sticky at the top of the forum. Save it as .esx on ...
