You're right, Larry.
But the original post was "How can I save SONGS ...".
Nothing was said about programs and banks.
I was answering the question that was asked.

Although your post is a couple of months old, in case you are still looking for a solution, try this. Connect your L and R outputs from the TR to the LINE IN on your computer using AUDIO cables. There is a free program called AUDACITY in which you can record your songs. Set Audacity to RECORD and ...

I have been succesful in transfering my songs created on the TR 88 to my computer. Connect AUDIO cables from the L and R outputs of the TR to the LINE IN on the computer. Open the free program AUDACITY and record into the program. The original sounds of the TR record intact as a WAV file instead of ...

The Parameter Guide for the LE can be downloaded from the Korg support site in pdf format.
The instructions for installing the EXB-SMPL should be in the appendices.

Several links at Korg.com are dead. Anybody know why? Anyway, before that link vanished I made a hard copy of the instructions for what you are looking for. I have scanned it into a jpg file. The problem is figuring out how to post that scanned image onto the forum. I think I am doing this right ...

Yes, both songs and samples can be saved on the same SD card. The card is nothing more than a storage unit. I currently am using a 512MB card. I have about 35 SNG files, 20 MIDI files, a couple of jpg files(nothing to do with the TR), and a few samples. All of this has taken only 1.5MB. The longest ...

I have a midi sequence from my computer copied onto an SD memory card. I am able to load this sequence into my TR88 and it plays fine. My problem is when I create a sequence on the TR itself and save it as a MIDI file, there is nothing there when I try to re-load into the TR or my computer. I have ...

I have used the SD card to transfer files from the TR to my computer. The SD card and USB cable transfer only MIDI files. So save your song in the Midi format, remove the SD card from the TR, insert it into the computer SD slot and there you can read your data. Just click on the file and it should ...

key changes
I have recorded 64 measures in the key of G because the printed music is in that key. I want to change measures 1-16 to the key of E. Then change measures 17-32 to Em. Measures 33-48 back to key of E. Finally, measures 49-64 in the key of F. How and where in the menu can I make those changes? I don ...
