Yes, There is a service bulletin from Korg about the cutoff and screen issue. I had mine serviced just a few weeks ago with a new card sent from Korg as well as a new part for the screen. My service guy said Korg would have likely fixed it even out of warranty if you contact a service center and ask ...

They also sent a new board for the screen issue. My screen was fine but I mentioned it to my service guy and he called them right up and there was a service bulletin for that as well.

I just took mine to the repair shop as it's still under warranty. All Korg sent was a micro SD card he said there is a service bulletin about this issue so If you don't want to pull it apart yourself they are finally admitting there is a problem and are working it out. I also have him looking into ...

On my Roland Fantom this is called "decay". So even if your still pressing the pedal the sound naturally dies out. I do not have my Krome here now but I don't recall ever seeing that setting. Release is how the sound dies out without the pedal. For Krome sounds with a long decay I have just gotten ...

I use a Korg SP170 under mine with great results. Midi channel 1 for all Krome keys and midi channel set to 2 for everything played on the SP170.

Both boards have their strengths and weaknesses. The FA series has pads, audio in jacks to act as a mixer, a sampler and a few other features as well. The Krome with it's touch screen and wonderful user interface just sets it apart in my book. I simply can get from point A to point B faster on the ...

My Krome is buried until the weekend but as I recall you had the option of having the click go out the right channel only. Left as mono synth. I have not gone too deep into the sequencer so it must be on one of the main pages. There may also be a YouTube video with this option.

Re: Chrome click track

Just bought a Krome recently, and am very disappointed to find, too much after the sale, that there doesn't seem to be a way to route a click track to a drummer, since there are no extra outputs on the back as there were with my old o1W and Triton. Does anyone know a workaround for this so I could ...

I just picked up a card to swap out into the Krome. I use a Apple computer. If I simply take the card out of the Krome, put it in the Apple and copy it to my desk top, insert the new card into my Apple, drag the copied file to the new card and install it into the Krome, will it work or do I need to ...

Yes. In combi mode set one sound to the midi channel the krome is set to. Set another sound to another midi channel the X5 is set to. I use an SP170 for this. Organ and synth sounds are set to midi channel 1 and played with the Krome keybed. Midi channel two is set on the SP170 and all piano type ...

45, Live performance. It makes a great live synth due to the touch screen as well as a great midi controller for out board gear and iPad apps.

How do you copy the image of the sd card? I would like to make a backup. If I do a complete back up to the sd card in the rear port will everything I need be there or must I remove the micro sd card from the machine and simply copy or duplicate it?

The Krome works like most if not all keyboards in the respect you have just a few options for getting your work into your computer. 1, Record with the Kromes sequencer until the project is complete. Record the Kromes analogue outs with the completed song to your computer making an MP3 or wav file. 2 ...
