Would be even better if also for patch sheets and presets

 If Behringer would create a site where you could exchange sounds (samples) - patch sheets and presets of but not limited to their own synths.

Saving presets and banks

For the benefit of any people who may need to know how to save presets in the Korg Legacy Collection here is how I go about it. I am using the MS-20 in standalone mode so that it is not a DAW specific explanation. If you simply want to write over an existing preset or program as Korg call them then ...

Plus, if you manage to do this quickly, you can simulate a gated effect. ;-) My personal favorite to this day.

To compensate for the small GUI, i have a separate screen/monitor assigned for this. I adjusted it's size to 1024 x 768 and move the GUI to that workspace to view and edit more easily. ;-)

That helped me tremendously and until Korg vectorize the plugins, i hope it will help you as well.

Your DAW support forum and maybe also your MIDI-controller's manual are the better place to look for an answer to this. From my own experience and my DAW (FL Studio), the only thing you should be doing is, assign your MIDI-controller a port and activate the controller in that panel. Load up an ...

The original and VST-version of the Korg M1, allows you to build multi-sounds as well as assign to each sound a different region on the keyboard. Also it's possible to assign a different MIDI-channel to each sound so you can even do 'orchestrations' if you're very creative. ;-) The Wavestation lets ...

True! The Kaossilator Pro's cheaper, comes loaded with sounds, can be used as a MIDI-controller AND has USB for editing and storing.

The iPad has no USB

You can edit the effects and settings to some extend with the KP3-editor software. Did you download it from the Korg website? There's also a software upgrade of the KP3 (hardware) available. (version 2.0) The fx-release can be adjusted with the slider in real-time, so you can choose how much of the ...

:? Hmmm. I'll have a look into that. Maybe the solution to this problem can be found in one of the templates for external control of other MIDI-devices and VST-plugins. You may find these templates in the global settings. I use FL-Studio as well as the Micro X and Legacy VSt-plugins but i ...

Howto: have MicroX play MIDI-files from your laptop or pc

I just found out last night that the soundsettings in Windows (XP Pro in my case) also lets you choose which device plays MIDI. Standard, the internal soundcard is selected to play your MIDI-files, but you can choose other connected devices as well. So you don't need a DAW at all! ;-) Just connect ...

You may want to look into the VST-plugin Glitch from dB Blue and FL Studio's Granulizer. Both of these go a long way as far as sample manipulation goes. When a rhytmic sample is (automatically) chopped up, you can even manipulate the chops as if they're separate notes. As far as i can tell, there ...

That sounds bad. Maybe you should contact your local retailer or Korg support. Maybe the internals have gone bad somehow.

Is your Micro X still under warranty?

I haven't had this problem before but it might be that you have used the Micro X to play the MPC or the otherway around. Try to program and play back the rhythm or groove with sounds from the MPC only and use the Micro X and its sounds separately for other parts such as melody, backing chords and ...
