I was wondering does anyone know how to set up the zero 8 for cubase to record. Basically send midi to a korg radias and record it on to cubae

im trying to hook up my zero 8 so that i can record a synth into cubase.

im completely lost... what are the steps to set it up so that i can send midi to a synth and then record it into a channel on cubase 4.

help greatly appreciated

Using windows vista

Im using a high quality cable and have even tried a different one.

and all programs(wireless) are turned off

I have a zero 2 years and it keeps cutting out and releasing a high pitched noise.

I have sent it back to korg and they have no solution for it.

I cant even use it deejaing coz it will just cut out... everytime

does anyone have a solution. this happens with both traktor and cubase.

I agree... i would never take this out as it continuosly releases that loud pitched noise after a while the worst thing is korg seem to ignore the problen...... my zero 8 was even sent back to korg and they sent it back saying theres nothing wrong with it. ive seen enough complaints on the net ...

Ive been having this issue with my korg for ages.. i havent been able to use it live because it always looses signal and then disconnects with a high pitched squeal.

Ive even had korg look at it.. so what is it with the wireless??? what do i do??

Hi I have followed all the instructions as you said.. when i record .. it just records on deck A and B ... and the Record channel does not receive audio.. the level for Ext. In 15/16 does not show that any audio coming into the channel.. is there anything i need to change on the Zero. Thanks for ...

i still cant figure it out.. i read the pdf that comes with the update and its showing sending the signal the other way. what im trying to do is send to tracks from Abelton to two channels on the korg zero( i know how to do this part) . but i want to send the two tracks back to Abelton after ive ...

So i can use the eq on the channels on the zero 8 and then send both channels back for recording

yeah.. so yours is disconnecting and are you getting a high pitched noise then???

I sent mine back and Korg still said they cant find a problem.. but its good to know im not the only one.

its become such a problem with every session that my zero 8 is now back with Korg who are testing it.
