I had to go manually change which drivers where being used, windows wanted to use a generic driver instead of the Korg drivers. I think you change this in either the control panel under audio or game controllers area...may have been in the device manager.

What OS are you running? Go into the device manager and maker sure that the nano key has the correct driver selected (not the generic windows driver). The options your describing are for the sound output.

When you press a key on the keyboard do you see any response in the M1 program?

What recording software are you using? I never could get mine to work with Fruity loops 7...finally upgraded to 8 and with the download template from the Korg downloads section works great.
There are also templates for cubase and a few other programs, the cubase one works great as well.

I'm not sure if the EZdrummer Lite had it with it or not...I never checked. I know the full version has one...the standard kit seems to match up with a General midi drum kit so if you can't find it try this and see if it helps. Not sure if they allow external links in here if now google general midi ...

the downloads section on korgs site has a default setup for this for cubase. I have it setup on mine and it works great...except for one small thing, you have to reaload teh template each time you start a new project in cubase.

You need to know what notes correspond to what drums/pads and program them accordingly with the korg editor program.

If your using something like EZ Drummer is should have a PDF file that shows what notes each drum is.

Midi question

This may not be the correct forum to post this in... Anyways, Here's my question/problem. I'm using a nanokey with fruity loops and writing some synths. I don't know if this pertains just to this particular synth but it is confusing me. I have a section done about 4 bars, the same pattern each bar ...

I'm having the same issue, however it's not just with the M1Le. I use fruity loops as well and it does it consitently with the various soft synths in FL as well. Seems to be the same few keys over and over.

when you setup your output in ASIO4all make sure you have nothing else open. I'll look at my setup when I get home and update you on what I did.

Hello

Just purchased the entire nano series of midi controllers. Doing alot of stuff in Fruityloops right now...looking to pick up Ableton Live when I have a little extra cash. Currently I'm just trying to learn how most of this works, I've messed around with midi a little in the past but never really ...
