No, it isn't a problem related to volume settings. When it happens, also sampling functionality of the keyboard breaks, trying to play samples in the sample editor hangs the keyboard and you'll have to power cycle it using back power button.

I'm still waiting news from the repair centre...

I found hat keeping the instrument off (using back power button) for a day will restore MP3 and sampling functionality, but it goes away again after 10 - 20 minutes the instrument is on. I gave the keyboard to my dealer, it should send it to Korg factory for repair...

Tonight, when I tried to play a MP3 from an USB pen, I selected file on player 1, press Play, but.... no sound even if the button lit. So I tried other MP3 I know the keyboard played previously, but still without success. Then I turned the keyboard off and back on and... after that ALL mp3 files ...

Yamaha allows downloading the Music Finder database with real song names: http://services.music.yamaha.com/musicfinder/ So Korg can do the same thing, provide the songbook with real song names as a downloadable file. The res files contains the waveform data, and these are preloaded into RAM during keyboard startup. This is true for Pa2x and Pa3x. in Pa3x they added a backup battery to keep these waveform data in RAM when the keyboard is switched off to reduce startup time. Is there somewhere a kind of freestlyle for Pa2x like the "Ethereal movie" style present on tyros3?
