Nope. This is with everything except Solaris (voltage regulator, mixer, Kronos, and speaker) powered up. Besides, Kronos and Solaris are not connected in any way. It's almost as if it's relying on a volume pedal (I don't use one) to do the control changes. I powered off and on, and it fixed it. For ...

kronos acting unusual?

Good Morning. Last night, my Kronos was acting a bit strange. The volume wasn't going to zero-I was nearly at full volume with the master volume set to zero. The individual sliders were operating very slowly. ie, I push one from 0 to 127, but on the screen it didn't shoot to 127, it merely "walked ...

I'm an M-3 user, with MONTHS of programming and study of it. While I considered an Oasys, now the Kronos comes out and it's caught my eye.
Are the 2 OS as different as to which nothing from my M-3 will transfer to it?
Sorry, the M-3 hasn't been talked about on this particular thread...

I have to point out, the M3 is very 'studio friendly', and a lot of its sounds are designed such that they sound very 'produced' - ready to drop straight into a recording or work well with a band on stage for example. Because the sound is being produced electronically, this works quite well - it ...

Link to ordering new buttons, etc.

There once was a link here to order replacement buttons, as quite a few on mine have the faces worn off of them. I can program and navigate around the unit blindfolded, but when I upgrade someday and give the M3 to my keyboard-playing son, he'll want something other than blank buttons. I also have a ...

or...get yourself a RAM stick. They're getting cheap-the price seems to get lower every month! With one of these, you can save your programs/combi's etc. in your OWN BANKS. And still have the factory ones to play with, or start out with. I find manipulating factory sounds easier than starting with ...

If you're referring to the "Bridge", I set it up on the step sequencer in the Radias section, running up and down over an E-flat 11th chord, while playing xylophone/mallet junk over it. Works pretty good. I guess you could write your own Karma scene for it, but I got pretty good with the SQ-10, so I ...

Expansion

Korg has offered hundreds (not sure of mB measurement) of patches for FREE. Last I looked, you had to buy these from Roland or a 3rd party for your FG.

Use a filtered OB type sound and use the ribbon routed to filter, moving across the ribbon left to right as you bang the chords out. That's how I've done it. Save the ribbon motions to your sequencer as a "Controller".

Also, in Metronome preferences...you can send the ckick out to another output on the M3, example...if you want to send the click to your drummer along with the sequence-without sending it into your monitor or the front end!

I stand corrected. With a little research, the stated length of the Prophet '08 is just 18.5" (47 cm).
