Something must have been done wrong during the save.

I have the Roland pedal for my X50 and it works fine. The calibration saved without issue and it worked when I powered off/on the keyboard. I know you have an M50, but I find it hard to believe the calibration won't save.

That's not bad, not great either. They seem to be going for about $400 US used.

Velocity switch would be a pain in the arse.

I don't think there's a way to do it the way you want in a single combi. You could create another combi immediately after the first one with this setting, then use a foot switch to activate it when needed.

You could try a system reset, but I think it needs sent in for repair. If you just got it take it back, otherwise it will have to be sent to a Korg service center.

news to me

Where did you hear that from? All I can say is that it is running fine on my Macbook. Here are my specs: - OSX Tiger 10.4.11 - Macbook (white) from June 2007 - Intel core 2 duo 2.16 Ghz - 2GB RAM Now I had heard there were issues with USB devices and the latest version of Leopard, but that had ...

Even the owners manual on Korg's site doesn't say. All it says is "local voltage". I would check with Korg support.

New X50 owner!

I have received this as an early Fathers Day gift from my family on the condition that I sell my tube guitar amp(!) Well... it's not that big of a deal. With young kids I rarely got to enjoy the thing and I don't gig. I'm using Waves GTR Solo and having a blast with it at low volumes. I've noticed a ...

I doubt if this will really help, but... My wife is a music teacher and one thing we learned early on is that DAWs and Sheet Music generators are often two different products. A DAW if it will print music at all generally only has basic formatting options and so does it rather poorly if you're ...

Awesome. I have every intention of doing this to mine when it fails. I couldn't believe they put a 1/8" jack on this thing.

It sure looks to me like the LCD has cracked, or is at least being stressed. If you're under warranty I would send it in. Even if it is just stress it could still fail eventually.

I just noticed that you already stated you have Live, so you should have all the loops you want already. Keep in mind though that only MIDI loops can be used with the X50. I use Logic myself and have never used Live before so I can't offer further advice on that.

You didn't say if you have a Mac or PC. I have a Mac so I had to install the Korg/USB MIDI driver and the Korg Editor. Both are available as free downloads from Korg's site in the support section for the X50. The versions that came on the CD with it are old. Once the software has been installed ...

Korg Plugin in Logic 7

So I just got an x50, and want to use it with Logic. I've searched and couldn't find an answer to this question. I can assign a software instrument to a track using the X50 plugin without issue. However I can't create another instrument track with the X50 plugin. I'm assuming at this point that this ...
