Alrighty.... I used the 1.07 updater under windows 10 and it worked perfect. I did verify two way communication with midi-ox before doing the update via a "ALL" sysex dump and reload to make sure both sending and receiving looked ok. I also copied the contents of the updater to a new folder directly ...

Not sure why it needed a new name. To me this is a next generation motif without some of the workstation stuff but with an FM engine instead. If there is a decent vst editor that works and the price is reasonable, given it isn't a workstation I would guess around $1500 list, then it might be worth ...

I just hope it isn't full of half baked ideas like reface is and I hope the new thing has some real synthesis capabilities that are not dumbed down like reface.

E2 Automate Part Mutes?

Anyone know if its possible to automate part mutes? I tried pressing the record while a pattern was playing and manipulating mute but it doesn't seem to record?

Is there a work around or am I doing something incorrect?

I use a surface pro3 i7 for my DAW, since the pro4 performance isn't that much better (about 5-15%) I can give a clear picture of where the performance is at. In retro-spec I would have been happier with a desktop. There simply isn't enough performance out of a U series intel processor for a serious ...

The real question is have they dealt with the heat issue that the surface pro 3 has. When using the surface pro 3 as a DAW for instance it will quickly throttle down the CPU from 2.1g to .9g because of heat. Half-assed solution that does work is a simple USB fan pointed at the back. Would hate to ...

I know. I am probably going to try to make translucent labels to go under and above the pads.
You could design that into your overlay, but it would be hard to find the space without using really small text.

As 'authentic' as analogue is, I'm afraid there are so many variables and it would be near impossible to get modern analogue to sound like analogue from the 80's. Korg is doing pretty good analog emulations of analog without the original components so it's possible. If it's digital then that just ...

These need to be true analog using tech taken from the JD-XA. If they are analog modeled using analog they could be killers. If they are digital they should have just been plugins to ARIA. I won't waste money on them if they are digital. Korg is doing analog re-issues, maybe roland just caught up ...
