VX-90 is an analog synth module from 1986 and all sounds are made, sampled and converted into Kronos by me so I don't think Sharp will be chasing me around with a flamethrower for this :)

I don't think its possible on AL-1.. MS20EX on the other hand can do this by patching output from VCO 1 or 2 into cutoff (not possible on the real MS-20)

It would be a lovely feature on AL-1 though... :)

Akai VX-90 library

Hello !

For anyone interested, a little library with 23 multisamples. All samples are from an Akai VX-90, 6 voice analog synth module.

Threw in a PCG with ~20 quickly made programs to demo it.

Enjoy ! :D

That would be very useful per program ! Keep track of versions of same program.. :D

I have a K5000s, so I don't need additive on the Kronos. Though it'd be great to have it and be able to offload the K5K! Yeah, I have the K5000S too but with its 4 ch multi timbrality and tons of quirkyness I would love an additive engine inside Kronos, preferably with resynthesis like you can do ...

Just googled the MS50 to have a look at what extras it has over the 20, #@$%, Korg, you REALLY need to reissue that bad boy, STAT! Yes! that would be really nice. The oscillator on MS-50 could output all waveforms separately and unlike MS-20 the PWM was controlable. The divider I remember was quite ...

Got mine a week ago after 9 months of waiting.. Fun as hell ! I had a MS-20 + MS-50 about 15 years ago so it brings back a lot of fond memories. Kronos emulates it quite good but I've made some patches on the Mini that my Kronos was unable to replicate due to slight randomness in the LFO. The noise ...

weird "feature" ?

Help ! I have a weird "feature" on my Kronos that I can't figure out. When using a MIDI sequencer, If I have a droning sound playing on ch 1, If same key is played on any other channel it will cut off the sound on ch 1. If I change it to ch 2-16 it works as it should. Tried using the internal ...
