yeah that is weird...seems to me like the touch pad works...have you tried new cables for the audio? if the touchpad works and the input works, my guess is that something is fried on the inside....

are you sending audio into the device? the lfo and synth make their own sounds from within the box, but all other effects require audio to be put into the system so that it has something to add effects to. it sounds to me like you are just hearing background line noise on all programs. does that ...

there is no microphone on the unit. you have to plug one into the mic input, then flip the switch to "mic"...make sure your input level is up...and the mic only transmits sound when you have a vocoder patch selected and you are pushing the pad to apply the affect.

does anyone have a resources that has a demo of ALL wavedrum mini sounds? There are a few I really need to hear before buying...anybody ever found anything like that?

i know what you are suggesting...but with the kaoss quad you get max 4 beats, regardless of tempo...whatever tempo is set at the moment you touch the pad, you can get 4 beats from there...

the small yellow one? i don't think so, you'd be better off buying a nice used one on ebay

i have that little mixer...it's really nice...only really usable as a volume bank, but the fact you can run it on batteries if you buy the right version is nice....it's decent, especially for the price
