Anyway - if anyone has one that they're interested in selling for a reasonable price, or is interested in potential trades for other gear, etc... Hi, Tried to send you an email about this as I may part with my 88, but the address you show below comes up as not recognizable, so seems not to work ...

I realize it is subjective, but i don't think there's anything that stands up to the ease of the M3's interface. Definitely not the XS, even though that's a nice board in its way.

Definitely not an overbuy IMO...especially since you can tweak KARMA a million ways from Sunday...very creatively!

Anukis, Thanks for clarifying the paradigm. Yeah, I'd nix the Madonna-style rig, too, unless you've got a dedicated wizard (not just the MD) and redundancy in the budget, and even then it's a lot of ulcerage where too often it seems the fingers get pointed at us keys guys. You mention, using custom ...

Interesting question! While there's a lot to be said for a rack synth, as well as the Kurz, etc. Daz asks the key question: "What sort of sounds are you after?" That's a question that's got to be answered before plunking down for whatever. you've also got to really get the handle on the kind of ...

Thanks/rog sir combat. and thanks. is there a hearing aid that can be worn at all times that sounds natural and protects actively against loud noises? Like a compressor that fits in ear. Supermarkets are a bummer. Smithing (which I've done a little of) is like dodging ordnance. The noise spikes can ...

Interesting topic! Thanks Moz for starting it. This'll be a pretty long FWIW post, but I've learned a lot about Tinnitus and hearing anomalies as I've been living with Tinnitus since age six and hearing degradation for about fifteen years. Maybe some of what's below will be of help to you. I have ...

It's possible a "surge" tripped a breaker on your powerstrip/surge protector. Also possible it's an old protector and worth tossing, especially for something as important as the M3. Best advice is to get a good power conditioner from Fyurman, Monster, etc...one made for music gear. Most easily found ...

Greg, It's been a while since I had that problem, but I seem to remember that the WAV file had to be 48khz not the usual 44.1. So you might try that conversion and see if it helps. In fact, I think I recall I had to bring some 44 files into Logic and bounce them back out as 48s in order to play them ...
