Converting "outside" the M50
I do know how to convert my Korg files inside the M50 - save as standard midi - format 0 or 1. There is a mechanical issue with my M50 that makes it impossible to save to midi right now and I need access to my files for editing outside of the machine. The question is - can the Korg native .sng files ...

converting sng files
Anyone know of any other way to convert the sng files to midi other than exporting from the keyboard? Are there any software apps around that can do a decent job of reading the korg files in a pinch?

Midi Export only 71k files?
All of a sudden my M50 is exporting the standard Midi files to 71K size files only (both formats 0 & 1) I just reset to factory defaults and its still doing it - anyone have any ideas? I'm in the middle of a huge project where I really need the function, any help will be very appreciated. thank you T

Here's whats going on: Using Sonar 8.5 / with FA66 connected to laptop thru firewire to play older tracks through midi port into the M50. Drums are set to Channel 10, all settings in Sonar are good (Bank: Drum Kits / patch: Standard kit) all other channels of midi song are playing thru fine. Drums ...

D888 - uploading files
I can't for the life of me get files to be recognized by the D888. I've tried everything from creating files on a win xp machine with a fat 32 drive and uploading directly from there, thinking it was a fat 32/ NTFS issue...still no go.
