I've been working with the mysterious Jukebox Editor . I access it by menu/jukebox editor I have 2 mp3 on my SD card. I've 'added' my 2 mp3 into the JE I've 'saved' the results. Songbook entries created with songbook editor (new entries) on computer are written with split on and chord scan left. I want the sustain pedal on the lower but NOT on the upper(s)
How do I achieve that?

I have yet to be able to drop the octave of a 'lower' sound (on a piano-organ split.eg) It is simple to drop the octave of an upper sound (there is even the dedicated button). And there are movies on how to drop the upper sounds but they never quite get to 'how to drop the lower sound'. I can't find ...

Would it be true to say that you put your midi files into the songbook, save the songbook, and then create sets out of the songbook? I haven’t even been able to figure that out.

I am trying to populate my first songbook on my Korg PA 700. It shouldn’t be very complicated. A month later, having transferred almost 400 midi files from my Roland BK nine to my PA 700. I can say that I had to redo the lyrics of approximately 50 of the songs, changing them to fixed with fonts.

The truth of the matter is, I fell for the oldest trick in the midi book. I had the keyboard stuck into a USB extension box. When I put the keyboard directly into the USB on the laptop, everything worked as it should.Duh…..

I am pleased to announce that I've I've got it working. I re-scanned midi devices in the audio-midi setup. (in my beautiful Mac). alas a 700 didn't 'show up' but..... I went to the 700 Global midi presets and starting choosing until I came to '03 Player'. and sure enough I finally heard a file ...

I have found I can hook up an iPhone using SWEET MIDI and when I play a midi file, the bass part (CH1) plays (and only the bass part). (and as a piano)
So......once again the 700 sees the device......
