Re: PA 700 Volume drop
Tada! problem solved I found a post from 2022 with the same problem except concerning style playing. Solution: Problem solved: It was actually a problem of TalkOver. Re: Upper volume problem with styles off (PA700)
oops I just noticed how you solved the problem. What a relief! Hello Piercarlo! Here it is 2025 and I'm having exactly the same problem except with midi files! (on my 700) When I play a midi file, the RH volume is as I like it and when the file ends, there is a sudden drop in volume. I guess I'm ...

Re: PA 700 Volume drop
Great idea.
I've created a midi file with nothing but 2 Hi Hat notes. (on Ch 10 with a program change and vol 100)
Sure enough, when I start the file, the piano volume suddenly jumps. ...and then drops.
Also - it's not a 'piano' problem but any instrument

Re: PA 700 Volume drop
I notice there are '0' responses to my volume problem! Perhaps I can simplify. When a midi file is playing, my right hand is appropriately loud. When I stop the midi file, the right hand volume drops dramatically. Why is that? One result is that, when playing ' live ', I have to turn up the volume ...

PA 700 Volume drop. PROBLEM SOLVED
When I play a midi file on the 700 it is fine - the midi file and piano in upper 1 is a good balance - but at the end of the file the volume of that piano suddenly drops. (Until) I play the next file - then the volume returns to normal. Recently I had to play the national anthem (live) at a meeting ...

PA700 duplicate files
I have a feeling this has been covered but here goes...... I first got my PA700 in June 2024 and initially I had duplicate midi files that appeared. That is, for every midi file there was a useless 'ghost' file. The problem suddenly disappeared, one day, so I didn't worry about it. About 10 days ago ...

Fixing my Songbook.
Songbook entries created with songbook editor (new entries) on computer are written with split on and chord scan left. As these parameters are not editable with sb-editor, that must be done and written in sb-entry on Pa700 So....I guess I'm faced with altering each individual sb entry.( on the 700 ...

Loading a Songbook into 700
I'm loading my first Songbook. Using the Songbook software, I imported my 540 midi files into Songbook and saved it into my .set folder. On the 700 the files are there as expected. Unfortunately, every song comes up with a split on , and accompaniment on. Thus the left hand plays nothing. My ...

lower
Thank you seiben...
Another little question:
For all my splits ie
piano- marimba for Carribbean music
piano-accordion for polkas and Newfoundland music + TexMex
piano-fiddle
piano-harmonica
I want the sustain pedal on the lower but NOT on the upper(s)
How do I achieve that?

dropping octave of 'lower' sound
I have yet to be able to drop the octave of a 'lower' sound (on a piano-organ split.eg) It is simple to drop the octave of an upper sound (there is even the dedicated button). And there are movies on how to drop the upper sounds but they never quite get to 'how to drop the lower sound'. I can't find ...
