Sending MIDI control messages with selection of combi?

I'm beginning to pair my Kronos 61 with a Casio PX-350. My goal is to put together a number of combis, one for each song, then use the Korg's setlist feature to organise them and then work through them on the gig. I had hoped to use the Casio's on board piano sound (if nothing else, to save on ...

I also raised this issue with Korg's technician before ordering the Kronos 88 that I sent back because it was too heavy and cumbersome for my needs. I was so sure of this that I didn't bother even unwrapping it from the styrofoam sleeve, let alone testing the keybed. So it would seem to be a ...

Comparatively light, certainly, but still a bear to manoeuvre in tight spaces and up and down steps. I've decided to keep my 61 and drive it from an on-order Casio PX-350. Weighs about the same in total, but two pieces, far more compact, two keybeds and stereo inputs/built-in speakers to help with ...

Well, it came - and it's going back. Could barely lift the thing out of the box - just way too big, no way I can gig with that. I'm sticking with the 61 + NS2 for now, maybe later I'll add a Casio PX350 in as the 88-note. Shame, but there it is...

Kronos, Kronos, so good I bought it twice

I've been using a 61 on top of a Nord Stage 2 for some time now and the Stage has been feeling more and more redundant, sonically. So yesterday I took advantage of the great current UK deal on original Kronos (free hard case, £99 upgrade to "X Spec") and bagged an 88. Picking it up tomorrow. Now, to ...

Ringo's shows look far more entertaining than the sad spectacle Macca offers these days (cf Olympics opening ceremony, Diamond Jubilee concert).

Ironic that of the surviving Beatles, Ringo now possesses the better voice.

Editor cannot find SV-1

I have this in as a problem with Korg themselves but wondered if anyone here might be able to help. I'm running the SV-1 editor on an iMac 2.93 Intel machine running 10.5.8. When I first installed the editor it worked fine. However (and I think possibly following a system update from Apple), now the ...
