crazy argument guys. My sound card is an external 2 input 2 output box. It has lower latency but no sound card is perfect. The latency issue happens mostly with hitting record. The processor takes an extra 1/2 second to start the record. It is enough to muff up the first .5 seconds of my loop. I'll ...

Ten Thousand Feet Tall

TTFT is a project I've been working on. I'm hoping to release an album of some sort this year.

You can see some of the demos I've made on youtube show casing the Electribe EMX, Roland MC 808, Kaoss Pad, Micro X, R3 and a bunch of other equipment. http://www.youtube.com/user/TenThousandFeetTall

When I get my iPad, I will buy this app. I'm not afraid of making my ESX & EMX obsolete at all. I've played with music apps on the PSP, the wonderful DS10 on the Nintendo DS, and a handful of apps on the iphone. They all have their own romance, but just fall short in comparison to the tube driven ...

The ESX and EMX work wonderful together. Being able to call upon synths, drums and an advanced sampler all with analog style controls, and arp slider....its just incredible having so much versatility.

@nickslick The EMX only saves midi data. Midi data is just musical notes/music timing. The actual audio is generated by the sound engine inside the EMX. You must connect the audio outputs of your EMX into the audio inputs on your computer. Usually you have to buy some sort of interface to plug the ...

I have the R3. I haven't been able to create bass sounds as good as the EMX delivers. It's a more detailed synth, and I KNOW I'm not using it to it's full potential, but the EMX is much more intuitive to me. The R3 takes lots of work, and to get the same visual approach, you have to use the software ...

How do I record each EMX loop separately into garageband?

I want to record each drum and synth track into their own respective loop tracks within garageband. I want a track that is just bass drum, just snare, just synth 1, just synth 2, etc... So I can dump all those loops and do my own song arrangements within garageband. It'll give me more control to ...
