Yes it was ahead of its time. Even now, I think of buying one.
I wish my M3 & Kronos had 1 on-board arpeggiator outside Karma.
The LE had 2 of them! And what wonderful combis it had.
I composed some fun tunes on mine.

Re: How does the M3 hold up in 2022?
Hey! I've had a M3 73 since forever, but it's been collecting dust for years (not really, it's safely stored in a bag of course). I used it for band gigs etc., and didn't really bother with its actual functions and potential beyond picking a sound and play. That's what I wanna do going forward, so ...

@StephenKay, will you recode the Karma software for this PS-3300? :-) Sure, no problem. I'm sure there will be a huge market for it. :) Speaking about the Karma software - are people still buying it? Ever thought of offering at a substantial discount / freeware it? I sell a copy every now and then ...

Why not contact Korg instead of creating a website of this kind? Try contacting your Korg Distributor: http://www.korg.co.jp/English/Distributors/ I will contact them by email. But what are the possibilities with that? 1. Spend $2K on a trip to japan to fix a 1K synth that is defective? 2. Ship it ...

Website for M3 touch-screen failures?
I'll buy the domain if somebody wants to design the website for Korg M3 touch-screen problems. I just had another failure tonight and I am pissed. Now I go through the stupid routine again. 1. Turn it off. 2. Turn it over. 3. Turn it on again. 4. Leave it on all night. I was doing some serious ...

I have to agree on the touch screen. This is definitely the worst part of the M3m design. An iPad controller would be a dream come true. Or if editor software would allow us to bypass the touch-screen, I'd buy it in a flash. I didn't look at the photos because I was required to download them. And I ...

Re: M3 is still a smokin' bit of kit! A bit of perspective.
My Kronos and loaded M3 are literally 2000 miles apart! Arizona vs. Alaska. Been living with the Kronos and JP-80 for the past two months and forgot all about the M3. Didn't have it to play and work with so out of sight out of mind right? Well I've rediscovered the M3 over the past couple of days ...
