Hey... I am in a quandry. I am not sure whether Korg extended the OASYS credits for everybody or for just the people who complained. I have $750 OASYS credits and have bought 2 Kronos. I use plexus cleaner it's avable at motorcycle shops and comes in a spray can it is great on all types of keys and it won't hurt the screen it is made for plastic keeps every thing new.

this type of output is to my understanding not normally volume controled at the source as if it was a degradition of sound quality would occur do to limited bit depth. yes i have been bothered by this i figured that i did something my self to cause it. some times it was real bad then other times it didn't seem to be their at all. this happend with my oasys when playing several notes at once. i will check this on kronos when i get home

hi i speculate that the people that had to run it twice were using un zip files as was posted by some other thread but the korg instructions said to un zip the files which i did and both of my units only took one try. could not have been easier Jerry

I ask several direct questions about the kebed when they were first intrdused and what i rember being told that it was korgs finest and that they were made in japan i have k88 sn 161 and have had no problems thus far.

for me it was a memorymoog i still have it and it works perfectely I was 22 at the time back in 1982 and untel then i only played a conn organ and back in 1982 a memorymoog was about 2350. usd a lot more than a kronos is today. it has brought me years of enjoyment Jerry

Life on ssd drives has mostly to do with the number of times data is over writen so in this applaction it should last forever

Yes i have that smell its like somthing is running to hot i was thinking it would burn off eventualy but i always turn them off when not in use. I have a k61 mounted over a k88 and i think the 88 smells the strongest but it has less hours on it. Jerry
