So the original track is samples? Well, it's certainly exactly the same every time around, so it was either sampled or, as Sander says, recorded and looped. Certainly it was looped (or more likely copy and pasted on a track in ProTools) either way. Whether the original voice came from an existing ...

I switched off all effects, but this doesn't help me to explain why the two timbres sound like completely different samples than the one used for the program. Also walked thru all timbre settings, but I really don't get it. Hard to explain if you don't sit in front of your instrument and listen to ...

Re: Uptown funk
Here you go Dan. Let me know if you find that rising synth sound 3way scat voices. I-C058 While "3way scat voices" (and some of the other stock voice programs--personally I think "Ba-Da Scat Voice" is a bit closer) works quite well, an even closer version is to create a program using the ...

Good resource for working with sampling?
I'm fairly new to working with the sampler on the Kronos, and MAN is it frustrating! The basic sampling procedure is simple and intuitive enough, but the storing and managing of the samples is a nightmare. Seems (to me anyway) that the samples never store in the same place twice. Sometimes they just ...

Best/easiest way to do a "full" backup?
I've always been a bit confused by trying to backup my Kronos as I'm not exactly sure what or how to back everything up. I routinely do a "save all" backup to a thumbdrive, but I've never tried to load from it to verify it or any such thing, for fear that I might end up deleting stuff on the ...

Ahhh! success! Thank you so much! One last little problem though. Now when I boot up, I'm having a screen pop up that says: Auto Load Error. The Following KSC files refer to unavailable sample data: sample.KSC I clear out the screen and everything SEEMS to be pretty good, but obviously something ...

On page 14, there are posts about the exact files http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=93886&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=195 Maybe someone can take a look at ...
