I poked into it, but to my knowledge the native LED lighting cannot be suppressed, meaning stable light feedback is impossible.

I'm hoping I'm wrong.

This probably should have its own thread, but boy is the Circuit making my 'buggy' e2s look like a champ. The fading RGBs are a neat feature, but I can't imagine how one selects individual sounds or patterns efficiently without a screen. And remembering what the macro knobs do in each mode seems ...

Some quick thoughts from "the other guy": Nobody stole any code. Spleen wrote his beautiful app in a totally different environment and it's tricky enough that nobody reverse-engineered it in 2 days. When I said I copy-pasted I meant general-purpose things like converting hex to a string. This is ...

Just to be clear, you are actually -importing- the samples, right? You keep saying you are replacing the files on the SD card, but this does nothing. Try putting the mono sample on the card, boot up, import the mono sample into the stereo slot through the menus, then Export All Samples.

Cool! I was hoping it would run on a Mac; I'm PC-only but that's why I chose Java. On the site I have more info about your problem, but basically some programs generate .wav files with poorly-formatted headers. These will cause a host of problems, including the remaining time inaccuracy. I think ...

I've got the old version and I think they are all specifically designed to only transfer image files off. It's a neat idea, but of course the simplest would be for Korg to allow SD card access through the microUSB port. Surely the hardware supports it!?!

I "wrote" it in Java with Eclipse, but I've never had any formal coding training. It's a hodge-podge of hacks that I googled, copy-pasted, and forced into working. The tough part was figuring out the file format, but fortunately there isn't anything too cryptic in that. The slicing data is really ...

Thanks for the offer to help. I thought I made it clear but I'll note it once again: I'm not a programmer and I know this code is horrific. On the other hand, it works.

Thanks for trying it! Not sure how to handle multiple files, but I'll look into it. Yes, it saves automatically, just close it when you are done. Ld is Loudness (aka Play Level) and Tn is Tuning.

e2sEdit: an editor for the electribe sampler

NOTE: This should be considered beta software. Back up your e2sSample.all BEFORE you use it!

Please kick the tires and let me know if you find a bug!

NOTE 2: I am not a programmer. If you are and know how to get this hosted on something like github, let me know!

There is good news on this front. I am not a coder but have worked out most of the file format (at least for samples) and have contacted coders who are interested in this project (and may not wish to be named). Give it a little time and I think we'll have a really good solution for this; I keep ...
