help needed with copy and paste

Let's say that I want to copy measures 1-4 and paste them on first beat of measure 5, so that I'll have 8 measures of the same drum pattern, for example. Most of the time, when I do that, there is a slight delay between measures 4 and 5. Would that be because the down beat of measure 1 is not ...

Why has this #*$ kid Keytar1 not been banned yet? He probably doesn't even know a thing about music. I've played on a Yamaha S90 for many years, and it has served me well. Good sounds and built like a tank. But the Kronos is so much more advanced, and the pianos, ep's, synths, B3, are way ahead of ...

Problem solved. I was trying to sample my Roland MKS20, ep8 with chorus. Maybe because it is a module I could not use 'Note On' to start sampling, or maybe because it is so old. Anyway, I hooked up my S90 and it worked fine. I sampled the flute sound from the S90 and it sounds great. The MKS20 ...

sampling gurus please help

I am trying to sample one of my synths and I've got everything hooked up correctly. I can start sampling with 'Sampling Start SW' and with 'Threshold', but for the life of me, I can't initiate sampling with 'Note On'. Funny thing is, I think I had it working with 'Note On' yesterday. Any ideas ...

I should have taken a picture while I was in there, but I didn't think about it. I'll describe it as best as I can. The midi in and out circuit board is located on top of the audio input board. If I had not removed the midi board, I would not have spotted the loose connector on the audio input board ...

Thanks ronnfigg. Actually, I've done some sampling before. I've imported some wave files and also some sf2 files, and this is really not much different. I was finally able to create a ms program from my mks 20, but I'm going to do it right and create a program with two or three velocities. As far as ...

Well, I'm ecstatic! I fixed my own keyboard. I removed the back, checked the area of the inputs, removed the midi board to get a better look, and underneath the midi board I found a connector that was not seated properly. I pushed it in, re-assembled the keyboard, plugged it back in, and, voila ...

loose inputs

When I power on my K61, I sometimes have to jiggle the cable connected to either the left or right input in order to get both inputs working properly. (full stereo sound). This also affects the headphone jack. Now today, I was trying to sample my old trusty MKS20, ep8, and I noticed the same problem ...

I have a K61 that also suffers from faulty audio outputs. I feel the same way you do. It does sound wonderful, though.

OK. I just figured out that if I bounce to an external drive like a usb stick, I can set the sampling time to as much as I need. Now I wonder why my internal HHD is limited to 4:59.

When bouncing all tracks to disk...

I'm trying to turn some songs into wav files for our website. When I first start my K, I'm able to do one song. When I go to do another one, my sampling time is set to zero. Originally it is set to 4 min-59 sec. How can I gain that time back?
Thanks

Well, I just hooked up my keyboard to my little Alesis mixer and it seems to boost the signal to normal levels. I wasn't using the mixer because it was one less thing to set up and because it really didn't fit on top of my Kronos 61, but it does give me more control over my sound. I'm probably ...

It's the FOH XLR that is low. By the way, I'm using a splitter to combine l and r xlr's to run into one input at FOH, but that be a problem, I don't think.
