LIST OF Programs and Combis for the OASYS

It's been awhile since I checked the forum, but I am aware that there are a number of people that have created new programs and combis for public use, either for free or pay. However, I do not see any topic that currently lists all of the available 3rd party programs. I recently purchased Sharp's ...

Karo Pianos

Kevin, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. in fact, shortly after I posted, I remembered what memory overflow meant and turned off Ex2 and Ex3 sounds. WOW. I have been disappointed from the beginning with the Oasys EX2 pianos. Your description, calling them "forensically correct" was dead on ...

Karo - Pianos Disk 2

I had hoped to folllow-up your discussion on the Karo pianos having just received my Disk 2 accoustic - Bosendorfer/Bechsteain Disk. However, I tried to load the files and can't get them to work. I placed the Cd into the oasys tray, hit disk. in the load mode, I got the Karo folder. I hit open, got ...

Charlie, I was under the impression that you had received the update in the interim period since your last post and wanted to know what your final decision was. In any event, based on your initial thoughts and my own sampling of the piano sounds that Karo posted on their site, I just purchased Piano ...

Karo Piano update

Hey Charlie, have you made your decision yet as to the best of the Karo accoustic pianos. I am awaiting your review before I buy one (I was leaning towards the Bosendorfer set, but could easily be swayed). I spent some time last night playing the Oasys pianos and frankly can't wait much longer ...

Seeing the question about step sequencing starting me thinking... It would be great if you could do a quick step by step how to guide on your creation, detailing your procedure. I think this would be a great post that people would reference many times in the future. I have found the O sequencer to ...

Forrest Gump

Thanks for the detailed follow-up. With your guidelines, I am going to try to create something similar and see how far I get.

And like many of us, I am awaiting the release of your programs. Just tell me where to send the check.

thanks again.

Forest Gump

I'm not clear on this. When you say sequenced on the Oasys, are you using the Oasys sequencer only? with no other software;hardare?

Are you using Karo for the strings or what's in the O box.

That was great, light years better than the stuff that comes out of my O. What programs are you using?

ILIO titles

Sharp, I bought the ILIO pianos in AKAI format when I first got the Oasys, but had trouble loading it. I called Ilio at the time and they said that they didn't support the Oasys and I was on my own. So I put it on the shelf and forgot about it. Since you indicated that it was easy to download ...

The beat

The beat in the beginning of this Sting Song is the Standard Regeatton Beat. I have previously requested help on this in the karma-lab forum, but no one had any answers. I tried to build it myself - spent hours. Couldn't do it (that says more about my limitations than the limitations of the OASYS ...
