Wavestation reloaded is available
Somehow I have never posted the result here. Time to correct this. The Wavestation reloaded package is available over here (for free, I am not a merchant at all): https://sites.google.com/view/wavestationreloaded/ The site gives also a comprehensive explanation how the Kronos can be used to create ...

MonoToPoly
Slug, you are right that it has its limitations, and the Odyssey app will be very nice. But it is not a very good solution if you want to make your Monologue, Erebus or custom build eurorack synth polyphonic. The MonoToPoly concept can be used with any mono synth. Therefore, I do hope some clever ...

New effect to play mono synth polyphonic
Hi, I was wondering what mij Korg Arp Odyssey would sound like if it was polyphonic. Instead of sampling I went creative with Reaktor and now have build an effect that uses pitch shifting to create the extra polyphony: MonoToPoly. The advantage over sampling is that you actually play the original ...

TEG control
A question about the TEC control breath and bite controller:
When it is connected to the Kronos, will the Kronos sent the midi data of the BC to the midi out as well (5 pin midi out and USB midi out)?
Thank you.
(background: my usb ports on the laptop are already a bit overcrowded)

workshop sound cooking
Hi, The following video shows you how you can create a nice clean electric guitar type of sound with the microKORG. https://youtu.be/TGVhsA82u8o This video is part of a project I am working on. This project is a website where all kind of "sound recipes" can be found. By the way, these recipes are ...

Tips using feedback on your KARP
Here a short video on how to get a nice fat lead sound by using feedback on your Korg Arp Odyssey: https://youtu.be/maHiJADrxS8 summary: - sufficient output level: volume wide open, drive on - best results with filter I and II - adjust headphone level to find the sweet spot - when using filter I ...

Kronos case
I too have the Korg case. I am using it for several years now. I started with a Gator, but it broke within a month. The Korg case is very good and I like it a lot. The only remark I have, are the wheels. They are a bit small, so when using them outside on a pavement that is not completely flat, the ...

Ultimate
I use an old Ultimate stand with longer bars for the Kronos (the current ones are called Apex series). I still think they are the best looking stands, good hight for standing position and easy to set up and after folding it is just a one big bar. There are versions that have mic stand build in. The ...

Balanced
Balanced is needed if you are using long cables. If you have your mixer nearby, you don't need balanced cables. If you want to used the balanced signal, you can use special cables. Normally they have 1/4" jack to one end and XLR to the other end. The 1/4 jack is similar to a stereo jack with two ...

Thank you!
I would like to thank you all for the kind words and the donations. Yes, it was a lot of work (took me 1,5 year), but I liked to do it. It was a bit like embroidering for a synthesizer guy. Something to distract the mind and get at ease. Anyway, if someone has a real Wavestation, please, make a ...

First off, thanks so much for doing this. I know this was a huge effort. But I'm not sure how, but I appear to be having an issue. Only about 30% of the programs actually work when I browse thru in disk mode. For example, U-FF 000 works fine, but U-FF 001 does not. When I load it into a slot (U-AA ...

KSC not needed

I must have missed something, what is the KSC for?
Busch.
Edit: sorry, I misunderstood the question. You are right. The KSC file is not needed, since the existing waves are used. I have corrected it. The download now only contains a PCG.
