Kronos MIDI Automation, parameters change via MIDI map?
Hello all. Did a quick search and didn't find anything on this topic? Has anyone any ideas how to achieve mapping parameters to MIDI CCs on the Kronos. For example, I have sounds sampled e.g. Juno Pads/M1 Pianos within HD1. If I create a 'Combi' and layer these sounds - I can't use built in controls ...

Re: Kronos Sampling explanation? - Loading, Saving to RAM/SS
Actually your problem is that those two banks have the same ID and only the last saved Bank.KSC will be loaded unless you save your "sampling data" of second bank clicking "save under new ID" box ! Thanks for the replies ^ this helped a lot... 1. Load the KSC file into Sampling Mode. 2. Load the ...

Actually... I could benefit from a more human explanation than the manual because I've also experienced issues trying to figure out how to save your samples... I've found something that works but I don't know if I'm saving unnecessary information somehow. Any chance you could share your method if ...

Yeh - unless I'm missing something, its not totally clear in the manuals. The 'operation guide' explains how to sample, and save, and how to load KSC files but I'm not sure it efectivly explains how to keep/manage multiple samples or multisamples.. Page 124 Operation manual explains a little about ...

Assigning controls to multiple timbres within a combi?
Hello, im not sure if i am missing something but is it not possible to assign the controls of the Kronos to different timbres within a combi and control them in real time? E.g. Have a pad on timbre 1 and assign its attack to knob 1 and have a lead synth and assign its cutoff to knob 2 (or even the ...

Cant get MIDI mode changes to work...
Well, firstly, if there are any fixed medleys or otherwise multiple different sounds used per song, I make sure they are in a setlist on the Kronos, and in order. For the rest, I create midi presets in Setlist Maker: 1. Use the SysEx strings above to switch the K into whatever mode you want. It ...

Cool, ill have to try doing this more. It really shouldn't be different from venue to venue. I more meant say if splitting an EP and Lead synth, through 'studio' monitors, the balance might be right, but then in a bass heavy venue, the EP may be over powering in the lower frequencies or might not ...
