Actually I've got the same problem with the X50... It's stated EVERYWHERE, (even on the box) that it has aftertouch... it's even there in VST editor... BUT YOU CAN'T USE IT... A very ugly lie I must say...

Lol he's not talking about CONTROLLING X-50 via Cubase, he's rather talking about MIDI-MAPPING of X-50 on cubase... You know... to be able to controll as much knobs and buttons on Cubase from X-50 (less usage of mouse). My friend I haven't found one for X-50 so far:(

Pads (perfect), Strings (midrange), Leads (very good)= X-50
Piano=Yamahas were always better at it

The most common couse for this problem is because you are either touching mouse or synth when Sync-ing is going on... Don't move mouse or do anything untill it finishes Synchronizing !

it would be great if korgs had a proper rhythm section where you could dial in a preset or program your own beat and have its own play/pause button. Hey was gonna say the same thing... I think not much effort has gone into writing x-50's manual... roland or alesis manuals even show you the basics of subtractive synthesis... U guys know of any other Korg model's manual which talks about sound engineering?

Jim you're only sending midi data via USB to sibelius... no Audio... if u use a Virus Ti then yes u can send audio via USB too. Read to How to send audio sticky post.
