What sound or sounds are you using in particular? My guess is that it could be a velocity switching issue. If all else fails, try resetting the M3 from the global mode.
Good Luck!

Re: WAVE FILE conversion for studio time???
I've got 8 or 9 songs ready to go to the studio for mix/mastering. I've done everything in sequence mode and have everything sequenced in the cue list. I've done all of my vocals on a digital 12 track which I use to control my Korg during playback. Here is my dilemma---- Which 12 track do you have ...

A keyboard past 5 years is an antique anyway Real music isn't about sounds or technology; it's about technique and talent. 8) Amen to that Synthoid! As a matter of fact, I am still using my trusty 10 year old Roland XP60 for my live gigs, though I also have the newer Fantom X series, I take the XP ...

Re: Thought this was odd...
I read this over on the Karma Labs forum: "Dear Stephen, ........... And at this point I remember how good the piano (a really bad sampled one) sounded by activating aftertouch on the karma keyboard. Sorry for the complain or rant. I just needed to say it." :? That particular patch was one of my ...

Re: Internal Storage, Anyone Miss the CF/SM/SD of TRITON's?
I'm just throwing this out there, as an Extreme owner looking at future upgrades... One of my favorite features is the compact flash drive. It's pretty fast, and super reliable. I threw a 4GB card in there and never take it out-- It's like having a small internal hard drive. If I'm not mistaken ...

I really like Korg's Kontrol 49. I use it mainly for software synths, but it would most definitely work with the M3-M. I'd like to see Korg come up with a 61, 76, or even a weighted action 88 version rather than stop at the 49 key. Otherwise, the CME's, Axiom's, XBoards, Novation's Remote series are ...

I finally got to see the Fantom G at a GC the other day. I've been happy with my X6 for awhile and wanted to see if the G would wow me and make me convert. The G is a great looking board and looking at the screen in person is like looking at HDTV vs. the X's. And the board is physically bigger than ...

Re: Cymb roll with long cresc
What is the best way of putting an cymbol roll with an 8 beat big crescendo into the sequencer. I bash the keys repeatedly at a slower tempo and speed it up. There must be a better way (treat my way kindly, people!!) Sean Fortunately, the cymbals sounds on the M3 as well as the Triton series don't ...

TRITON VIRTUALIZED!
I don't know if this is an April fools joke. There was a similar anouncement a couple years ago during an upcoming NAMM show which turned out to be a hoax. But a Triton vsti? If it's true, awesome!!!

Re: Korg MS-20 midi controller & legacy plugins w/ M3?
Newbie here How do I get the sounds created by my Korg MS-20 midi controller & legacy plugins module into my new M3? There are a lot of combinations in the LegacyCell app I’d like to make use of. Thanks in advance… The Legacy cell has some fat sounds and it would be awesome if it could be done, but ...

Korg needs to speed up the release of the EXS-USB-PCM expansions. IMHO, many of the M3's acoustic emulations sounds are weak ! (we need better acoustic guitars, strings, brass, woodwinds, and World Instruments). Larger and more samples for variety and velocity programming). I wonder, why is Korg ...

Thank you the great pics. ....... And Roland cannot master the touch screen tech. It would have been nice if that big screen was a touch. It looks nice. The keys look just like the keys on their D series which I didn't like. Thanks again 100% agree! Why did Roland opt for the new VSynth GT and the ...
