farriagada, you can create loading basic samples to oscillators without effects. I believe it can sound very similar to a basic synth sound. But if you want to create your own sounds totally from scratch, like a analog synthesizer, it is not possible to do with Krome.

I don't remember now, but I guess it is very easy to create since these kind of sounds are basic synth sounds like square, sawtooth, sine, etc. You can create these sounds from scratch just loading Krome samples into an Init Program oscillators.

Actually KORG uses vacuum tube in KingKorg and SV-1. In the past it was used in Triton Extreme. Isn't it?

I own both keyboards, a Kross 61 and a Krome 73. Technically Krome is superior. It has a huge touchscreen, partial build in aluminium, big samples (up to 3.8 with 2.8 for pianos), has knobs, and sounds more powerful with your M3 sound engine. But I also love my Kross because it is very lightweight ...

michelkeijzers good to know it! Triton Extreme is an amazing workstation. I remember the first time I saw it. Was a video with Jordan Rudess playing a Triton Extreme. Amazing sounds and this blue vacuum tube in its rear looks very beautiful. I guess KORG is the only company that use it on keyboards ...

Akos Janca thank you for your suggestions. I'm sure it will help me a lot. I watched this solo before I get my KingKorg. Simply amazing! Yesterday I played my KK at studio. Man, what a great synth it is! Fat sounds and aggressive. My style is Metal, so this VA will be perfect for adding analog ...

Thank you for your reply! Sounds good to me. I've received many good feedback from other KK owners like yours. When I say it is not a great success I mean it is not as popular as it could be. It is an amazing keyboard. But I can't find many information and people using it on YouTube. Probably ...

KingKorg vacuum tube lifespan and keyboard quality

Hi there! I am purchasing a KingKorg and there is something I am thinking about: vacuum tube durability. Reading KK owner's manual there is a part about vacuum tube's lifespan. I am afraid it would damage in the future and its price for repairing could be high. I guess that is why KingKorg it's not ...

Re: Krome went kaput!

After about two months of nothing but wonderful performance from my new Korg Krome-88, two days ago my screen went all pixelated and no buttons would do anything. I turned the machine off, and when I turned it back on again, I got the following message: "Read a system from SD Card and Run the ...

sodastream I've read your post. Same situation has happened to me. They only fix my Krome problem after I insisted and a video demonstrating the piano cutting that I've sent to them by e-mail. I believe KORG knows the problem, but doesn't want to recognize it in public. I don't understand their ...

hartlas KORG Krome is a fantastic keyboard. The only problem is this annoying one with piano. It isn't sure your Krome will fail. But as you can see there is a considerable number of people with this problem. So in my opinion KORG has to organize a recall and publish an official note explaining the ...

rivanho At this moment everything is OK. hartlas The second time I went to technical assistance, they said "your Krome is OK". But I insisted and contacted KORG Brazil. After it they changed the Micro SD containing samples and Firmware. I believe KORG has to organize a KORG Krome recall. For this I ...
