It's not fair!

Post by zzz »

Korg have got a lot to answer for. I've got a full time job, a wife, I need sleep, I play sport. I have varied interests, and then they go and release the Kronos. Anyone know how to slow down time when you need to?

Quit your job, leave your wife, sell your bed, stop sporting but keep the Kronos.

I'm already obsessed!
I've not got mine yet (due in early Oct) and I can't sleep, wife's fed up with me talking about it. I'm busy decorating to pass the time and make sure I'm ready for my new 'baby' .

Bring on the Kronos late night sessions !!!

To slow down time, buy a rocket ship, get your Kronos and yourself aboard and travel at least at 10% of the speed of light. The explanation can be found here.

PS) This will only relatively slow down time. For those staying behind, your time will be experienced as being slowed down. You, however, won't notice any difference.

Anyone know how to slow down time when you need to?

Set your Kronos up in the middle of The Great Pyramid...Simples !

It's been proven with countless experiments that mass distorts the "fabric" of space-time. That distortion is called gravity. This means that if you were standing 1/2 mile from one of the larger Egyptian pyramids, space-time between you and the center of the pyramid would be distorted, and that in turn means that the ticking of your wristwatch would be different than a wristwatch at the center of that pyramid. The difference would be far too tiny to measure, but it would still exist. Notice that this time difference is *relative;* your watch ticks at its usual rate, but if you could observe the watch within the pyramid it would appear to tick slower.

Something here about slowing things down

Get a divorce like me - I have lots of Kronos time now!

And who needs sleep. Because of this beast, I've gotten no more than about 5 hrs a night because I can't tear myself away from it.

Slow down time?

It's a parameter in the control surface mode. It's a little weird, you need to scroll using the new data knob that was just released.

It seems to work, but sometimes it seems a little glitchy. Could be because I can do about a 100 things before the parameter changes on the LCD.

The only thing unfair to me is the basic 2 months I've had to wait for my backordered Kronos. I could pick one up right now but not at the price that was offered to me. It is a shame because the JP80's are easy to locate. :)

hahahahahaha! So funny.

I have no wife, no children and a girlfriend of high education pedigree that let's me do "my thing."

I think the WORST problem is to have all this great stuff in the room next to you - and just play it when you can - because it's >>right there<<. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I'm referring to................

The COMFORT ZONE (theme music please with a shocking close-up effect)
Too much equipment. What a bonehead.

I just thought it was the little knob under the flashing light on the right side of the keyboard. I also thought it seemed a little odd that no matter which way it's rotated it just seems to make the weekends fly by 40 times faster... I'll have to look into that! I guess I'll just have to give Stephen Hawking a jingle and find out.

Btw, Dan@Korg, if you're reading: maybe you'll want to see about recruiting Professor Hawking for the next workstation line!

Cheers!

I'm afraid people don't want me to have a Kronos because I will have less time for programming the app.
