Some time ago there was a thread about adding not the links but some sound / wave directly into posts, I think Sharp made some posts about it in the test thread.

but such integrated soundcloud widgets do not often appear correctly in different browsers, or different users computers. I have frequently been presented with only the HTML code rather than the widget, and this then is not usable at all. Read: you cannot listen to the sound file. The best, cleanest, and most bullet proof (universal) way to post a soundcloud file is to simply post the URL link.
