I suspect my feedback/complaint is lost forever - how convenient... and it said on the email that they take complaints very seriously - which they did but I still don't have answers my questions.

What now :(

How can I chase this up because I'm getting no answers..

Where/how did you submit your feedback/complaint? I would think all the emails and such are intact. In fact, a Tech Support inquiry for Korg UK still goes to a korguk.com domain, so I would think it's still in the system.

Cheers,

The form was on the website and then I got an email from support which I've replied to before and got answers, but my complaint was pushed back at me as though it was my fault ?!?!?

This is not the support I was looking for and wanted more answers with the hope that I would get replies until I was happy.

Unfortunately, I've not got that and they [Korg] keep ignoring my questions - I just think it is rude and unprofessional.

I'm not sure I could use the Korg.com contacts as I live in the UK - and I hate filling in Web forms anyway (I suspect that is why the do it that way)

There must be a main contact in US or Japan that I could contact as this is a joke.

I did find this (select country UK):

Interesting????

Choose country UK and the Korg microSTATION is not listed as a product.

Choose country USA and it is listed.

Which website is newer? so is it an error....
or is it going to be discontinued?

I emailed Korg Uk and asked them why it had moved and pointed out the latest midi drivers aren't on the US site.

I know you shouldn't post their email responses, but there's zero info that's confidential and if I re-wrote it I would say exactly the same thing in my own words.
Dear Phil

Our old korg.co.uk website platform has served us well for many years, but our efforts to offer a better web experience have proved too much for it so we have decided to move onto a more capable and modern platform. It is still a UK site, managed by KORG UK which includes content relevant to UK customers. As you mentioned, it is still a very recent change which is only going to get much better as we continue to work on it.

With regards to your comments about the drivers, I have passed it onto to our web development team and it should be fixed shortly. In any case, it seems that other links to the KORG USB MIDI drivers point to the correct, latest versions (for example, here: http://korg.com/nanoseries2).

Should you have any comments not related to technical support in the future, please use the appropriate contact from this page: http://korg.com/ContactInfo

Well done Korg for this move.

It makes much more sense - it provides a central portal for all things Korg, while also allowing their .com domain to act with its dual role of servicing the US and the world by directing you to your regional variant of the site - exactly the same as Yamaha, Apple and so on.

I agree - the korg.co.uk web site was excellent, especially in its provision of historical resources - but in the long run this will make for a much smoother interface with Korg as they have now fully aligned their identity as an international company along the same sort of on-line presence as other organisations.

I think it is good to combine the sites, however I hope that all documents and information from korg.co.uk will land in Korg.com somewhere ... what I miss for example are documents about sysex for Triton and other workstations.

All download information still is available on korg.co.uk:

I don't know if in the future this site (part) will be removed though.

Michel, I think the SYSEX info is still there, it just is under a different category. The Triton Extreme MIDI spec, for example, is found under the "Drivers" category instead of the "Documents" category. For Triton Studio, it happens to be in the "Operating System" category.

I haven't done a 100% cross check but I'm almost sure there are (at least some) documents on korg.co.uk while not in korg.com.

One of the good things with Korg UK, if you noticed a mistake on their web site or the wrong version, a simple email, you got a response back usually within 24 hrs and within a couple of days it was fixed.

Korg.com still has the wrong version of the Kronos midi drivers displaying and this is 24 days after Danatkorg let them know

Yeah, I've been watching that process going on for years and years. It's sad.
