Yes, you can upgrade if you wish. Here you'll find many threads with instructions to do so

Regarding the cost, it depends on the specific RAM & SSD you buy. You can DIY. The 2.0 OS comes at no cost.

Yes, the memory can already be extended and the SSD will then also be part of the package.

I've found Dean (and others) very helpful at Korg UK - sensible, practical & responsive.

not spoke to anyone other than a lady :(

I wonder as I work in the IT industry if it's cheaper to just buy the bits ?

I think this would do the trick http://www.misco.co.uk/product/193750/S ... Hard-Drive

but not sure on the RAM

Of course DIY is cheaper, but officially not advised of course and Korg / Service Cneters have also some labour time to be paid.

Buying RAM and installing it are fairly easy. I created two topics a while ago.

** KORG Product Support Contacts **
(they support BOTH hardware and software)

Korg USA Product support -- https://www.korgusa.com/contactus (For fastest service I would suggest calling them on the phone)

Outside the U.S. contact your Korg Country Distributor -- https://www.korg.com/us/corporate/distributors/

If you cannot find it in the info of the Kronos X, probably not.

I'd be pretty sure if that was an upgrade, it would be heavily advertised. Maybe if we get an OS 3.0 there might be a chance.
