Split Mode - Setting Octave For "Lower"

When in split sound mode, I need to be able to lower or raise the octave of the lower sound, but I am unable to find a way to do so. To be sure, I am able to change the octave of Upper 1, Upper 2, and Upper 3 sounds -- although I wish I could do it independently of each other, but that's for another ...

Re: Players who do not experience problems with V3.0?

I've read some of the 'bug' reports, some of which are a bit specific, but I'm hesitating to upgrade right now. Maybe there are some PA4X owners who migrated and DON'T have any problems with the new OS? For 99.999% of what I do, the upgrade has not caused any issues, except for a mismatch between ...

Re: OS 3 Patch / sound bank problem

I am having issues with patch names and sound banks. As an example the factory guitar sound bank has Cavaquinho 1 as he first patch ( 121.020.024) . But the actual The actual patch which load is a concert Gtr DNC which is a legacy guitar... This probelm is there with most other banks as well. Any ...

Re: MIDI playback on the Krome...

I figured this one out, however, there's a small gap in my knowledge... How did I resolve this? After fidgeting around for a few minutes, I stumbled on the solution quite by accident. Note: My DAW software is Magix Music Studio 2. which I plan to upgrade to Magix's Samplitude 2016. Using the ...

Re: Which laptop/DAW, help required

I use a Dell desktop -- 3rd Gen i5, 16G Ram, Win10Pro My DAW is Magix Music Studio 2 -- it has most of the nuts and bolts of the more expensive software without breaking the bank. Allow me to rephrase -- the software does everything I expect it to do, What "nuts and bolts" represent is a subjective ...

MIDI playback on the Krome...

I created some instrumental scores using MuseScore and then imported the generated multi-track MIDI files into my DAW software; these files when played directly on the computer sounds great. I have connected my DAW software to the Krome. Next, I have tweaked the settings in my software for each ...

Sounds like you need to reverse to polarity on your pedal. Press the "GLOBAL" button and then "P2- CONTROLLERS". You can then switch from "Korg Standard (-)" or "+". 8) Thanks. That didn't quite work as I had hoped. I get the feeling I need to tweak the release setting a tad bit.

That seems like normal behaviour. Yes, and No. You could be right, but on other synths, arrangers, and workstations that I have worked on, a sustain behaves more like a setting with a long release on the Krome. :? Right now, I have the Yamaha PSR2K by my side and pressing the sustain for any ...

Sustain Pedal.. too much sustain!

The sustain pedal works, a bit too much I'll admit; and was hoping to find a solution to my problem. So, I press the sustain pedal and it functions as expected; however, it continues to sustain notes at the same intensity long after I have moved on to other portions of my passage. As an example, I ...

Re: went to look at a krome today - Good sequencer, bad buil

Shame on Korg... :( That's a bit much. I have the Krome 88, its a pretty good keyboard with a graded hammer keyboard. I am willing to agree with you if you are referring to the Krome 61 based purely on youtube reviews. That said, personally speaking, Krome has been somewhat of a disappointing buy ...

...but unfortunately, one of the sounds it's really noticeable in is my go-to piano sound. Yup, everyday has been a new discovery of a new problem with the Krome 88. I just managed to get a pesky piano sound problem, and then I discovered this new pain. Ah, welL. I have to find a way to make some ...

This sounds a lot like the Krome "sound problem" that's been talked about here for a long time - see http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=89650 Thanks for the help, I managed to get the piano sound problem out of the way. I have the Krome 88 and for the money I paid, I have no ...

Krome is Good... but...

Short Version: Skip the Krome and go for the Roland Fantom instead. Same price range (more or less) and better keyboard and sounds. Even the Yamaha MoxF series would be a better choice. Long Version: Off the bat, I had noticed that there was a crackle in the piano sounds. I figured it was the cheap ...
