Try assigning vco level to the mod slider, or via midi from daw or controller. If it works you can try replacing rhe potentiometer, its cheap and not that difficult..

I assume for volca fm? Well uoujusthave to turn the algorithm knob a little, a underline after the number is what is saved in the patch.

Ok guys here is a guide to do the hack! it really made the difference, can bring the softer click sounds up to good levels especially.

Ok guys Ive got this now, changed the click pulse gain resistors and was able to increase the level of the click by about 2,9 times. If anyone interested I can tell how its done.

Thank you for the input, but it is not for music production, its just for sketching ideas in gadget when i dont have things to do at work. Lots of travel and dead time far away from civilization. I think it will be fine since I will do the final work in my studio.

You ca do this: 1-Save the sound first over lets say 4 memory patterns. Then edit the patterns for your taste. 2-Use active step, use only part of the patterns. Found a funny thing yesterday about my volca FM. It has a microphoning effect when i tap it (just like a turntable does), anyone else noticed? My guess is that it is related to some capacitor microphone effect etc.

I had the same issue and the problem was that my daw was using the same midi port as dexed.

So you will haveto disable the midi out port in your daw then you select the right midi port in dexed.

Yes I have done that myself. Remember audio into sync-in, but I do not know where you can get the presets from other than another Volca FM or a recorded backup signal which I used. I think the best way is to transfer over midi with dexed in a vst host., lots of good patches in dexed too.
