The reference that madbeatzyo111 included (2 posts above) is of particular interest as it shows a lot of things that were tried and some workaround logic. This is a must-read.

Back in the good old days, I had a similar problem with Coka Cola on a PC Keyboard. The big difference here is that there is some electronics in in a PC keyboard. I ran the keyboard under hot sink water and let it drain. The next day it was just fine. I would recommend that you look at how the ...

Wow, I see an MU100 in your footer. I have an MU100R, great synth from Yamaha, and very much like a Roland Sound Canvas. Very expressive rackmount with Yamaha XS extras.

This HAS to be the single most asked-for feature of all time. It should receive serious consideration if there is ever another software update. Seriously!

And just why does evildragon think that an external USB controller won't work? This is one of the two basic operations of any keyboard workstation. Korg has always had this capability in all of its keyboards. You just pick a MIDI channel and start playing.

GOTTA HAVE THE KRONOS - It's not about the architecture, it's about the sounds. Kronos has it all Price-wise, I'm going to let my M3-61 go for $1600, including shipping if needed. Preference going to someone near me in Clearwater, FL. It is in pristine condition, and has the: Latest OS upgrade (V2 ...

Check out Motif very nice guitars IMHO Geez, I'll have to put the M3 away and break out the Motif XS to have a listen. I guess this has escaped me. I'm going to dump both of them as soon as the Kronos is actually in stores anyway, so I might as well get to try the guitars out whilst I can. Tnx for ...

It might be easily possible to shift the keys left or right within the unit, then shift the global pitch to accomodate the new key layout. How hard would that be? Just sayin'.

The piano even sounded better on my laptop speakers than my M3 or Motif XS pianos sound over larger speakers. That impressed me more than anything else.

I've rarely experienced good guitar from a hardware synth. I always route my guitar patches through an external guitar processor like the POD X3. That little trick gives me a wide range of acceptable guitar sounds, and I can tweak them to my liking.
