I think a new electribe3 is needed to liven this place up.

Last night I was setting the start point and wondering if there is a way to truncate. Maybe just have to resample it and delete the original.

I'm pretty sure I tried this and it doesn't work. Just the note(s) received from midi will play regardless of the chord button being selected on the electribe.

Seems like that should work. Have you tried it?

I'm not fully understanding what you are asking but I think you have two samples and you want to toggle between them

With a sample assigned to a pad you can mute and unmute.

Or have two patterns that you switch between.

I hear you and definitely looking forward to what Roland has coming. Best way to save money on the electribe is to not buy one!!! Hopefully this rumour of a new Roland groovebox is real. If it's anywhere near as good as the Mc909 it'll destroy the crappy new tribes! And I love the new tribe updates ...

The top row of pads on the E2S here seem to slope in from the outmost pads to the center pads.

There is no threshold recording and also there is no select a length like 4 bar recording as far as I know.

I haven't had that happen either but I can say that the old card I was using took so long to export all that it appeared to be hung. After getting a new faster card it exports all in a minute or less.

I really liked the sequencer on the Akai MPC. I remember lots of tracks, mute groups, I/O, sampling & sample editing, nice pads, and when they added the synth to the MPC5000 I thought that was awesome and going in the right direction but then after that they are just making controllers.... :( Now ...
