Hey Synthoid, I apologise if I appeared offensive. Sure didn't mean to. You are right of course, 5 inch and no sub is a challenge to realistic sound, to say the least, but we ARE talking about woofer diameter only. This correlates only partly with overall monitor sound quality, whatever the size of ...

Feeling the same way about this apples and pears thing. Favoring getting the Radias, I mean. To me, it is a finite decision with infinite and incomparable benefits. The monitor issue is quite a bit more complex and subjective as you may read in the following threads: http://www.korgforums.com/forum ...

As far as monitors go I'm making a short story rather long... bear with me: In terms of music, to me it is important to have equipment that reproduces sounds/music as closely as possible to how they were intended by their creators/performers. This has become somewhat of a hobby over the past 40 ...

Hi Jerry, Thanks for enlightening me. Things are clear on my radar screen again. I'm sure you'll let me know when the artist's Radias stuff is ready. No hurries, no worries though. I am travelling a lot these days and haven't been behind my darling M3 for too long. May be a few more weeks actually ...

Ha, I'm glad I found this thread again. Hi Jerry, I'm afraid I do not entirely understand what your writing. I can not use the RadiasV2.zip and RadcomV2.zip files yet? Drum track assignment not yet done? What does the rest you wrote mean. Sorry for being so ignorant. Do you have a E.T.A. on when ...

Hey dfahrner, Thanks for your detailed clarifications. Great you actually measured the resistance values. Inspires me to make it work, experimenting with resistors when I have a moment. It is the reverb of the piano sounds that I use together with my more dynamic half pedalling technique (versus ...

I am afraid that dfahrner is ill informed. The SP2 is an acoustic piano style sustain pedal with damper, expressive half-damper functionalities and polarity switching. Very sturdy metal housing, metal chrome pedal, solid rubber base and cable attached. I paid about USD 20.- about 8 months ago ...

The M-Gear SP2 (M-Audio) pedal is good quality, affordable, good looking, works well with M3 and is likely to be available in Europe.

Hi notgeorge, In your case it may indeed be impulse related. For most others that seems not to be the cause. Setting the sensitivity of the pads may be a good solution in your case. One should be able to hit the pads pretty firmly without negative consequences. The construction is very solid. Thanks ...

Hi Sparkie and Eric, At the risk of appearing bull headed, I encourage you to try the plastic toothpick approach (Dentek silk floss picks). And try Pig Spit or similar if dry film doesn't do it. Cut off the very finest tip of the pick moisten it with the silicone and trace the pad firmly yet ...
