Korg Taktile
I was wondering if anyone has a Tactile and could answer a couple of questions for me. I am looking to replace my K61 and am looking at the Taktile. One of the major reasons I am moving away from the K61 is that I have to use the editor software to change the MIDI Channel that is being sent. Can I ...

R3 Replacement
When I first got into producing electronic music I bought an EMX-1 and then a couple of months later an R3 (I was playing in an instrumental dance group at the time). Since then I have greatly expanded my gear, including a Radias-R, and have switched to a solo project. I love my R3, but I feel like ...

It does have to do with the Bank/SubBank. Check in your manual, either under the midi section or in the index I don't remember which, and there is a small section about changing patterns via MIDI. Each Pattern is identified with a corresponding Bank/SubBank combo. I have been able to get A-B groups ...

I assume you are asking if you can sequence your Blofeld via the EMX? If so the the answer is yes. I have never used a Blofeld before, so I can't help you on that end with specifics, but you need to enable the synth to receive note and maybe program messages. Connect the MIDI Out of the EMX to the ...

I was so excited about this when I opened the topic and saw that pic. It looks like it would be an awesome machine to get my hands on. And then after clicking the link, I realized you can't put your hands on it. If this is the direction grooveboxes are going, ill be hanging one to my tribe forever ...

It sounds like he wants to wants to do something with a mix of hardware and software, using Ableton to sequence his hardware while adding software stuff to it, like groups like Daft Punk do, rather than recording audio and djing your own production songs, like people like Bassnectar, Deadmau5, and ...

Not sure if this will help but you can trigger program changes from within Ableton. I can successfully do so for Banks A-B, but not C-D. It's not that C-D can't be done but that I haven't figured it out and haven't put any real time in it as I just put all my ableton related stuff in Banks A-B and ...

Yes you can set two tracks to the same channel and have them play the same note. But the channel of your parts is a global parameter, not pattern specific. So this would have to be a link that you used across the patterns, unless you wanna change global settings on the fly, which you can't do while ...
