Electribe2 FW 1.10 - clicks gone?

Hi all, didn't find anything around here and it's not mentioned in the firmware details. Are the clicks gone? When using those long 808 kicks there were pretty bad clicks everytime the next note cut off the first one. Is this still the case? I'm a little nervous about updating due to the discussed ...

The function is remaining, you just don't have 8 bars anymore. I think you don't even have to save anymore, if I'm not mistaking. Just make a two bar pattern, double the length and you should be good.

The one feature i would desire can't be implemented as it's hardware related. The old secuencer row underneath the pads, better for programming and playing. I'm not really able to tell which note I'm playing :I

I'm confident you will enjoy your Electribe. Since your not that deep in the materia - a 'beginner' - I'm absolutely sure you will have fun ;)

It's definitely closest to an electribe. Don't know why everybody thinking of it as an Kaoss Pad. It has a sequencer, you can manipulate sounds in realtime, you can actually EDIT the sounds, mute sounds. I also liked the workflow of the older generations (EMX, ES-1) way more and of course it's buggy ...

Sound really good! But I would suggest that ES-1 and ES-1 MKII are allowed too.

Electribe 2 - No original value?

Am I dumb or isn't there the original value sign like it used to be on the old electribes? You can search through the values with the arrow keys but that's a little bit... meh.

Midi Drumpad for Electribe 2

Hi. I was thinking of using the Electribe as a sound module for a midi drumpad so I could play some of the sounds easily when playing the drums in my band. Does anyone know some sort of pad controller I could use for this?

I have the ES-1 MKII and I think it's totally valid for modern raw productions. Of course it's a little limited but in the age of DAWs this shouldn't be a problem. One thing I can also recommend is an SP-303. I'm looking forward to use it as an compressor effect for the Electribe 2 (if i would get ...

A common issue of the older Electribes is the main dial. Does it also switch samples when you're choosing a sample and stay in the selection menu for a while?

You get up to 64 steps per part, per pattern. No matter how you slice it, 64 steps is your ceiling. Tempo and number of bars are just different ways of thinking about those 64 steps. You can have 32nd notes, but you only get 2 bars. The result sounds the same as a 4-bar pattern running at double ...

I've been having a look at this. I'm not sure what the point of this is. Set the resolution to 32 and the bars to 4 and you get 4 bars at twice the speed. So halve the speed you get a 4 bar pattern in 1/16 notes, at normal speed you get the equivalent of a 2 bar pattern at 1/32 notes. It's ...

wish I could put certain sounds in 1/32 not only 1/16 sigh You can. On page 3 of the Parameter Guide, it shows you how to change the pattern resolution. It's referred to as "BEAT" in the menus: BEAT: [16, 32, 8Tri, 16Tri] Specifies the beat (time signature) of the pattern. TIP: If this is set to ...

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive but I have high hopes for the unit. I started making music with the Electribe EMX and I loved it despite it's lack of several things. I went on to Software and I'm happy till now but I always wanted another hardware machine were I am able to create music just ...
