at 0:27 and throughout the song there is this crazy distorted bass thing, it sounds kind of FM-ish but I can't tell what is happening to the sound to make it not exactly talk but have a nasal distorted tone

I actually can't hear any synth in this song, maybe i'm just deaf. If there is a synth in this song, it is being used as an accent mark and it hardly noticable at all. but I can say that whatever that is, it sounds like an arpeggio.

so your saying the r3's volume should be max and I should just lower the sensitivity so that it can do that?

maybe sensitivity is the wrong word, but you know what I mean.

it just sounds like white noise and I can't even hear it unless I amplify it by +50. There isn't really a pitch to it. I just have it plugged in through the line in. Do you think it could be something to do with my audacity settings?

nvm I fixed it by changing the midi channel of my R3 to 2 instead of 1, but my question now is how do I map knob settings of the r3 into midi out on fl studio?
