>Will Korg offer editing software for the electribe ??

Who cares, I'd like to know if they are actually going to implement proper editing in hardware first :)

Here he is commenting on the NovatioN Bass Station a year or so ago. I'm not sure if he sounds more or less enthusiastic here compared to Electribe.... For real? He only mentions 10 times the bassstation is amazing, how it's helped complete his album, how all the basslines he was struggling with ...

I keep thinking, if i had my e2 and went trhough a time machine and gave it to quincy jones, or teddy riley or marley marll, they would all piss theyre pants. This. Also: You know what is "just wow" ? The OP could've known all of the issues, but he still bought one. Actually, no. The website doesn ...

There are two ways you can layer - you can assign a part as poly and then put in multiple notes. Or better, copy a part to a second pad and tweak that. That's not "Layering"; "layering" means being able to play *different* sounds simultaneously in the same track/part. For example, the Yamaha RS7000 ...

I've (also) got a Roland TR8, and the difference between how Roland interacts with its customers and how Korg does is enormous. First of all, the Roland (Aira) products seem to have been thought out very well; it seems they've really checked with their customers what they actually want. Their new ...

There's also been features added that makes it better than the original 'tribes in my opinion. I'd bloody well hope so, they've had 12 years to come up with it! When the EMX/ESX were released facebook didn't exist yet, we were using Nokia brick phones, and 48MB of sampling ram was fairly decent ...

The other way to implement it would be like the Roland TR8, where everything you do is instantly stored / changed, and you have to manually "lock" the pattern so that changes are NOT stored to it.

Re: Hooray for Pattern Lock!

OK, I wish it would just put up a message asking if I want to save edit changes before changing the pattern That would be completely awful. There's a very good reason why you actually manually have to 'write' your pattern: for live performance you want to use your "base" patterns and tweak and ...

Waiting to see if the firmware hack still works with this firmware version.

It could be they just released a firmware with bullshit fixes/features like these and something to block OS switching..
