I went with a GenoQs Octopus, which is expensive but arguably the best sequencer currently available, like the O is for workstations. . Thanks for this tip, GenoQs Octopus looks very promissing. They have a very different approach to sequencing than all the PC/Mac sequencers. I'm reading the user ...

You need to investigate a little more to determine a proper answer. But what to include if you don't have the experience? Your questions are helping me already. What kind of sequencing would like to do ? With a stand alone hardware machine e.g, Akai MPC or a software application running on a ...

What external sequencer to use

Long time since I've been here. Was very busy with my work. Next two weeks I am at home and have time to experiment with software on my new laptop. I need some advice from you. I think I want to use an external sequencer but I never used one before. I have three questions: 1. What external sequencer ...

I had some spring noise from the keys to the right of the keyboard. I opened the Oasys and tightened the screws of the keyboard inside and voila: problem solved!

Dan, I was just wondering, would it be possible for you to get a few more people involved and get the opinion of say 5 other people and see if they can detect a difference, to see if there is an increased amibient reverb for A114 between OS 1.1.1 and OS 1.2.1 at different velocities. If none of ...

And my verdict is....

It must be quite stressfull to work at Korg these days: One person is convinced that sound quality is less with the new version and you must react quick to prove you are not guilty: It's sort of like being on trial where the public is the jury. The Korg team has convinced me that sound quality is ...

Very nice initiative

Hi Sharp, I like your idea very much. I own the big O just a few weeks and did not do the extensive programming of the programs sofar but I really like to dig in there. It's very nice from you wanting to share your samples with the O community. Does this mean you don't want to keep the copyrights of ...

After playing the Triton Extreme for 1 1/2 year and the big O for just 3 weeks now I have the following suggestion: Please give us back our pattern grids to create drum sequences and any other type of sequence like in the Karma Triton software. RPPR, wave sequences and step sequencers are nice but ...

Donation

I just received an email drawing my attention to the need for financing this forum. I just donated some money because I think this site is worth it. Let's not forget the huge amount of work behind the scenes that we don't see. This dedication is worth much more than the small contribution that is ...
