From reading the other thread it seems your system appears to be bogging down. If you are looking for just audio/video system I'd suggest you don't install all the additional stuff you appear to be having as well as turning off stuff that may be running sans your knowledge (like quicktime/google ...

Yeah, the Nano's are a steal at $60 at a local GC store. Daddy's Junky Music is $70 (could have gotten the LPD8 for $60 but didn't feel like driving the half hour + to get there so paid $70 for it). And yeah, it has an extra knob/slider on it = nice to have. I may get one later but for now I'll ...

Well it seems you have things figured out for what you want to do with regards to workflow, etc. I was debating on getting a NanoControl BUT after reading some stuff (mainly I think towards the nanoPad) was that they aren't too rugged. Not that I need something super sturdy lol. I ended up getting ...

Hi, Well, as you saw all the different scenes there should be one that defaults to the MIDI notes to match up with Battery 3. What I did with Battery 3 (I have Komplete 2, 4 and 5) is just use the pK editor, load GURU and load up a Drum Rack in Ableton and the cells matched up just right. If you are ...

Hi, I have Live 8.1.1 on XP Pro SP3 and the pK as well. What you need to do is select load (whatever it is called as not in front of that system) and find the Factory*.* file. Load it up. Once loaded you should see GURU down the left side for templates (think they are templates...). Load it up and ...

Well, we may be able to help if we know a bit more about your setup, operating system you are using, DAW software you are using. Are you running the latest USB drivers for the padKontrol (recommend the 1.12 or 1.1.2 (whatever latest was recently). I can run the padKontrol and an Akai LPD8 controller ...

I don't use the software that he is but I will impart the following to re-emphasize what X-Trade is trying to get across. I will try to be gentle :) 1) The editor is as X-Trade said, just that, it is for changing the notes for each pad to different one, assigning values to parameters, etc...that's ...

I would start by looking at FruityLoops MIDI section of which I know nothing about as the padKontrol works just fine with Ableton Live. So it sounds more to be FruityLoops related than padKontrol. Check the documentation on MIDI for FLStudio first.

If you say it works with Live and apple software I'd go talking to the Serrato makers and see what's up (unless it's a configuration issue with it and MIDI controllers).

It (padKontrol) works fine for what I use it for (and when I do lol) in Live.

I use Ableton Live but it is a tad more expensive than FLStudio. I just have to load GURU from factory presets (once that file is loaded you will see GURU on left side) to select from. Then the cells in Drum Rack line up to the first cell it defaults to (C2 range). But as X-Trade stated it should ...

Hi, For ableton and padKontrol this is what I did: Install the Korg USB driver Install the Editor for the pK Load up ableton Live and go into preferences and enable Track and Remote for input for your padKontrol and output for it as well. You should tap the pads and look in the upper right side of ...

Hi,

I have the padKontrol and Ableton Live. What I did was load up the padKontrol editor, load up factory default and selected GURU. Once I did that and uploaded it to the pK the default drum cells matched the pads on the pK.

Hi, The only thing I can think of is to look into the librarian and see what you have for assigning capabilities for this. I wish the M50 had a sampler option but at that price range it couldn't happen. I picked one up recently as I sold my other 2 I have (Triton Ex and V-Synth (older one)) to my ...

The controller will change the patches in a specific bank that you are set to by default. I used one with my Triton Ex and still have the Behringer here. Yes it is big, and yes it is sturdy as well. I haven't gone the ROM route yet as I don't know how much more functionality I would get out of it as ...
