Hi there Sirio, welcome to the forums. Just to clarify, do you mean 'can you play the Radias rack by itself (without a [MIDI] keyboard)', or 'can it stand upright', or 'is it a stand-alone "groovebox"'? I don't think it's necessarily ideal for stand-alone usage (in other words as a "groovebox ...

Oli, You can do it! Use low-pass-filter. . .not too much. When you "fuss" at Kat-Kat, use that low, gravely voice. Breath deep, open mouth, sing like Tony (in French with Hungarian accent). Fake it. You can do it! Hope Tony is not in too much discomfort and you as well. God Speed, Pilgrim

Super Korg OASYS Features

Thanks for the thread, Kevin :!: First two, still most important since the beginning: Karma-Lab and Stephen Kay for Karma and superior support and continued development. (I still have my Karma Workstation and recently re-loaded MW to my portable computer,. . . for when the O is far away.) KORG, for ...

I think the Oasys type sounds justify part of the price. NO doubt. Also you get what you pay for. I can honestly say I do not think I paid too much for and instrument that will challenge me for years to come. The man hours and dedication to this project perfectly justifies the price. Excellent ...

I have no idea of technical issues but i can assure you that the midi recorded from my Novation SL Remote 61 to PT is much more accurate in terms of timing than anything I record from my Oasys to PT through either any of the 2 Edirol midi interfaces i have. Something different is that I hate the ...

Hi John, Thanks for the feedback. I was mainly thinking of it's sequencing power and more intuitive sample integration. However, I have an iMac on the way and will no doubt see where that takes me instead of an MV. Cheers, Eric Gotcha, Exactly why we got the MC-909 (and I do love my RM1x for these ...

Re: MV8000 with OASYS

Greetings all, Just curious, are there any OASYS users integrating Roland's MV8000 or MV8800 in their setup? Cheers, Eric Eric, In '03, we looked seriously at the MV8000 to use as a "MIDI player" (DJ style) and "beat producer" to make Dance Loops with the Karma WS. Chose the MC-909 instead. Very ...

Re: Any MIDI controllers that can track motion in 3D space

Hi, Does anyone know of any MIDI controllers that can track motion in 3D space and lend it self to new types of articulation and expression for playing instruments? Best regards, Elvis Dowson Elvis, Roland has one that they put on lots of their gear. . . Called the "D-Beam" It is a light beam that ...

dear ladies and gentlemen, I would like to ask if you do a promo on EXI's for the Oasys in the future ? The other Korg users get all the goodies so far, I would like to get the MOD7. Any discounts for LAC users or even a free sample library if you have both EXI's ? best, imusic This is the ...

It's way outdated in terms of hardware specs and it's probably difficult to source those parts anyway. You really can't compare the OASYS with personal computer specs. If you use that comparison, the Yamaha Motif XS, Roland Fantom-G and Korg M3 are EXTREMELY outdated. The OASYS has significantly ...

No takers  ;-) Okay, I was just messing as I was a little giddy ... I did just plug my guitar into the Oasys as I said, except it was a Godin with Synth Access and this is a STR-1 Program being played using that ;-) I just got this wonderful instrument and was having so much fun. It's an ...

OK, thanks Daz and pilgrim, I learn 2 things... what is the Freezing option, and for what it is good? And, if Ableton never or not recognize, record any SYSEX, maybe we would have less troubles running a LIVE midi file into another sequencer, and, if needed we could perhaps add at the beginning of ...
