I understand this.. The in to the out the out to the in, all connected properly, but no control over the virtual instruments. I don't know what else to try..

Hey everybody, I was just wondering what your takes are on dual instrument and midi cables.. I can save money by getting dual cables but what is the significance of these things, less tangle to worry about? Any sound/sound transfer differences? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!

They're actually on Facebook lol, type in microkorg and you'll find a page for it with a series of six patch packages for free download! Don't know what the quality is all about though...

found a bunch o patches in rar. format... any idea how to get these files to be accepted on the sound editor to be transferred to my mk?? Thanks

cool, thanks guys, that did the trick.... amazing how difficult it can be to find what you're looking for when the answer is so simple :/


however there is still one problem... the volume decreases as I slide the mod wheel away from me, is this a problem concerning the filter or cutoff??

This is the case for a handful of patches that came on the mk. I've messed with the lfo's and patch edit choices, adjusted the speed and assigned it to the mod wheel but am not getting that wobble I'm looking for at all... any suggestions?

Howdy, so when using the sound editor on a mac, will just a plain ol' midi to usb cable work to transfer data? Also, any driver or anything required? Other tips and tricks for a successful transfer of patches? thanks a million.
