I bought my Korg Kronos 73 from Proaudiostar music on ebay for $2000. It was listed as "new other". What I did receive was basically a brand new Kronos in the plastic with retail box, all disks and other materials. I did email them and ask what the description meant, and they replied that it was ...

Honestly, I don't even notice the fan what so ever. If I really concentrate on trying to hear it, it's there, but it's really a non-issue for me. I am more annoyed with the loud sounding keys.

From what I understand there really is no set serial numbers that have the keybed issues, although i'm wondering if the earlier #s are more prone to the problem. On the issue of the upgrade, here is the email i received from an authorized service center near me: Korg offers two upgrades for the ...

If I have a chance to pick up a used Kronos X 73 key, how much more should I expect to pay for it? The used 73 key I purchased was $2,099 plus tax. I just got my Kronos off of ebay for $2000. It was sold as a "used" model by proaudiostar. The box was in perfect shape and the keyboard had no marks ...

I have a cat and she used to use my Motif ES6 as a jungle gym platform. Thankfully she has stayed off the new Kronos.

Not sure what country you are flying from or to, but why don't you pack it up and send it by freight (UPS or Fed EX here in USA) to your new destination. Might be a lot cheaper, and those types of companies are normally better with sensitive electronic equipment.

Thanks again for all the responses. It is the normal "thump" when they key hits bottom. I hear the same sound when I play my mom's Yamaha Clavinova. I guess it just sounds loud because i may not be used to it and i'm a bit paranoid because of all the forum threads out there regarding the RH3 keybed ...

Thanks for the responses. The action on it feels normal and there are no rattling sounds or anything else. Maybe i'm not used to playing on a weighted hammer action keyboard as i've had an ES6 for almost 7 years. I just never remember any of my other 88 key synths making this much noise. It's almost ...

noisy keys

I just purchased the korg kronos 73. The thing sounds incredible, but the one thing that annoys me is the very noisy keys. The thump thump when I press the keys. Is this normal with these things, or do i have to do something about it. I'm not getting any kind of other issues with it, just the thump ...
