Thanks everybody for the kind words. I lent my R3 to a friend about 6 months ago and alas, he doesn't want to give it back! When I do get it back, I'll post some more patches. Thanks again for the feedback.

I don't think r3 has a tuning scale parameter. I searched the manual and it doesn'thave anything about scale...

Thanks for the comments and especially the link! I did split the keyboard for Baba, makes it much easier to play. I'm working on some updates (brighter tone etc.) I'll post when I get a chance! I used echo to "double trigger" the note and arp to play the faster "rolls". I'm not sure how to use the ...

It's been a long time since I had a DW8000 but I do remember it very fondly! I did some testing of the DWGS and ADSR and was able to get some (what I think are) very close to original patches. I don't think there is a way to directly port the sounds, but just by matching the waveform and the ADSR ...

Re: Cakewalk - MIDI transmit

If you have the librarian running, Sonar won't be able to see the R3. Shutdown the editor, and restart Sonar and it should show up. That's how it is on my system, anyways...I wish I could run the editor and Sonar at the same time.

Wow! That VA77 is a great idea. I notice they mention that the display is easy to see even in very bright light. I have a few keyboards that have displays that are nearly useless in bright light. My Korg Pa1xpro has a touch screen, and unfortunately is very hard to see in bright light. One reason I ...

Cheers for the reply. Your stuff is sounding pretty cool. I play piano, but I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to this synth stuff so I've not got my head around it all yet. What effects do you put on to get the WGFA sound? I guess it's a trigger arpeggiator on an organ sound, but what else ...

Re: Classic Synth Sounds

Hey folks, Anyone perfected The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" on the Radias? Also, are there any good sites where I can download synth patches that recreate classic songs? Cheers, D I've got an R3 that I'm programming a bunch of 70's songs-including WGFA and Baba O'riley etc. I presume R3 patches ...

There seem to be a few undocumented features on the R3 editor... When I hover over a value and move my mouse wheel, it jumps by larger numbers. When I hold the shift key down and spin the wheel, the numbers change by .5 values! The number on the screen doesn't show it, but the values appear to be at ...
