Korg SP-250 - add an input??
Hi, I am thinking of getting a SP-250 Piano which I very much liked in the store. Including the built-in speakers are not too bad. BUT: Thereis no way to add e.g., a mp3 player or so to playbacke.g., drumtracks... SO I wonder if it would be feasible to mod/add a e.g., 3.5mm input connector ...

Should definitively work. Maybe you need to reinstall the drivers. ALSO, make sure your NKII is in "Protools" Mode. This can be done EITHER by selecting it in the Korg Utility (top right corner) and then saving it to the NK2 by selecting "Write Scene" OR by pressing a certain combinations of buttons ...

Hi, it is kind of Mackie Control Specs and the SPecs are not publicly available. YOu get some idea if you read the Phyton code of the Ableton Mackie Protocol and I can tell you it is a mess, but works nicely! SO I am sorry but I don't think it is worth spending enough reverse engineering man years ...

I agree it would be nice, but I doubt there will be such a thing any time soon. Cause all the buttons would also be nice to have the lights working in DAW mode, so where to stop?! BUT: the good news is that even in DAW mode, you can somehow use the other controls for other things, e.g., in Cubase or ...

NanoKontrol Fader caps replacement
Hi,
the faders of the Nanokontrol really come off pretty easy.
Unfortunately, I lost one of them and wonder if, how, or where I could get a replacement for a fader cap?
Anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks!joemmi

Hi, yeah sure, the reassigning in the style of a shift button would be great. But I have actually no idea of doing it, sorry. This would require some serious programming in phyton which I have no idea of. I don't know if assigning the shift ctrl or alt button to one of the NK2s button will work, but ...

Hi, the light functionality works thru the Mackie Universal Control, which basically consists of Note On messages, some CCs and some clever Sysex for the lights. However, it is fairly complicated in particular the Sysex part and I have not yet seen a full documentation of the protocol. I posted in ...

Hi, should work on Mac, too: Just need to find the directory where the MIDI control scripts are located. This is how to find them: On OS X, to get to this directory: Go to Applications, find Live.app, right-click and select Show Package Contents. The directory is located in: Contents\App-Resources ...
