A surprise update to the iOS app hit the App Store today, and it brings compatibility with iOS 11 and fixed a few other bugs (according to the version update notes).

I just downloaded the update, but haven't had a chance to connect to the Integra and try it out.

Yes, it's very possible. You just want your NI setup to not respond on the Kronos global channel. (If it does, then you're going to hear the NI sounds all the time, even when not in that combi.) In the combi timbre, you can select EXT2 if you want to send bank select MSB/LSB along with a program ...

No, the Kronos won't send the received data to the MIDI Out port.

Man, I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I can empathize, too, because it was a steep learning curve for me also. I hope you can get over the hump, because once you get to a certain point, the depth and complexity become liberating rather than overwhelming and paralyzing. The thing about HD-1 -- you ...

Voip's reply is exactly right, except one small thing (which is totally useless for a realistic trombone gliss)...

The pitch bend range can go up to +/-60 max, not +/-12. This might be useful for a theremin-like sound, for example.

A Combi will transmit the other channels if you select "EXT" or "EXT2" under Status on the Play -> ProgSelect/Mixer page. Similar story in sequencer mode.

It's definitely clearly explained in the manual. I don't have it handy, or I would find the page for you.

In that case, you can setup one of the EGs (say, EG9) as described in my previous post. Then in "Osc" -> "Osc Main" select EG9 as the Pitch AMS with the intensity at +24.00.

I'm not sure what synth engine you're using, but the Amp EG is not what you want. You want the Pitch EG. And you don't have to mess with the AMS for pitch at all. In HD-1, it's "OSC / Pitch" -> "Pitch EG" where you'll set the envelope. (Level: Start = -20, everything else +0. Time: Attack = 50 to ...

If I understand what you're trying to do, I think you need to apply an envelope to the pitch instead of LFO. The sustain level would be +/-0 and you can adjust the starting pitch and timing to taste.

It's laughable (though not really funny) to accuse someone else of being "obviously so biased", when the accuser is arguing from an obvious position of strong bias. Hi Sal, the Kronos always sends MIDI output on the global channel. It will also send on other channels for additional timbres that are EXT/2 or BOTH. What I do when I'm using my Kronos to control other synths is that I set them to a different channel. If it's a multi-timbral synth, I mute channel 1 ...

My DS-1H has a TRS plug, not TS. The half-damper capability comes from being a continuous controller, like an expression pedal (which is always TRS, I think).

I was able to replicate this unexpected behavior, and opened a support case with Korg. I'll post back to this thread if anything interesting comes of it.
